Ok for short stay for farm lovers

Eileen was lovely and even accepted that we leave our brand new mattress topper and pillows behind as we couldn't take it back on the plane with us. The kitchenette was good with everything you need to make meals. The heaters thankfully worked well once switched on, as it was absolutely freezing when we arrived (but Eileen did apologise, she wanted to switch them on before we arrived but unfortunately didn't arrive before our arrival in time to do so, no big problem for us, we sorted ourselves out). The apartment was clean ! And that is a very positive point for us !

The beds were very hard, and we bought a topper to try to compensate, which didn't really work sadly, I still ended up with pain in my back that required anti inflammatory meds for a couple of days. My back is really bad though and if the mattress isn't super soft, I end up with debilitating pain all day. The shower was barely lukewarm, and that put me off from even having a second shower on day 2.. I prefered waiting until I got back home to have nice hot water. The shower was not hot enough and with very minimal water pressure.. I was freezing when I showered the first night even with the small blow-heat on. The moisture didn't evacuate at all from the bathroom after showering, as there was no air circulation system, and the window had to be left open as requested by a sign on the wall, to mitigate this problem. Sadly it meant having very cold air constantly coming in by 2 degree temps outside.. We knew it said "farmhouse" but we didn't expect the cows' barn to be literally just in front of the apartment door (5-10 meters). The smell was awful and incredibly strong (we're not used to these strong animal smells). Had I realised this when booking, I would have chosen a different place, but that's not the owner's fault, it was just bad luck.

Comfortable stay

Good location for us as we were attending a long weekend wedding in Inch. Weather was shocking so we definitely needed to use the heater provided and this warmed the bedroom up quickly. Very comfortable beds. Key code for entry so didn't meet any staff. Kitchen well equipped. Everything was very clean. Nice towels and toiletries were provided. There's just a bedroom bathroom and kitchen, so only suitable for short stays as not really big enough to hang out but perfect for our needs.

Not enough parking available. You park outside the main house b and b but there didn't seem to be anybody supervising the way the other guests left their cars so a lot of potential spaces were taken by bad parking. We had to leave car in entrance to a field the night of the wedding which wasn't ideal as the grass was wet and muddy.

Good location but less space than expected

Comfortable and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to village with two pubs and ten minutes drive to Castlemaine with an excellent restaurant.

Assumed the annexe was the one shown in the photo but was actually behind it and smaller. Kitchen table was fold down from the wall which gave limited space. TV audible from next annexe. The property was a bit cramped for our two night stay.

Perfect for our purposes.

Loved the farm ish location with the girls outside our door. Made me feel quite at home. Beds were comfy and everything required for a short stay was available. It was well located for the family research we needed to do.

We love Cows...

Location on the Dingle peninsula. The apartment is part of a working farm and we like the sound of cows and the smell of sillage. The place was warm...but with no River View.

The apartment is very tiny, with nowhere to eat the prepared meal, except either in the cold kitchen or sitting on the bed. The small useless desk should be replaced by a small table. There is no sitting room, and hence no sofa. 2 single beds with the doona on one of the beds too short for the bed.

Lovey small apartment in a beautiful location perfect for exploring Kerry

nice little apartment. I stayed for work rather than a holiday and slept great. Only 20 minutes from Tralee and a very picturesque location if you are booking for a holiday (make sure to go up to the Laharn Viewpoint). Very close to inch beach and also a good location for dingle but you do need a car. As I was staying for work I was keen to cook every night. The apartment had enough cookware to facilitate this, although and extra tray in the oven might be useful if there is more than one person staying.

Owner came across as a little rude. I never met anyone in person but did phone someone as I was not provided with a code to access the keys (I have looked all over my account and in my messages and still can’t find it). It’s only a small thing but what was said make a great first impression. There are a few small cosmetic bits relating the apartment that did not bother me but could bother someone who was a little bit more particular about visuals (tape on wallpaper behind tv etc).

Quirky little apartment

The apartment is behind the beautiful Murphy’s farmhouse. It is in the countryside and is very convenient for the Dingle Peninsula, Slea Head Drive and Inch Strand. The apartment itself has a small kitchen and wet room attached to a bedroom. It was warm and quiet and very reasonably priced.

It was quite difficult to confine the water flow in the wet room which meant that everything stayed wet all day, you have to put your shoes on to go to the loo 😏. The kitchen would benefit from a small microwave, but these are just wee possible improvements if the owner feels inclined, what you get is just fine for the price.

Lacked some basics

Excellent location. Private setting. Plenty of parking space.

Cobwebs above the wardrobe. 1 bath and hand towel per person per week with no rails or hooks to dry them out. bathroom was a wet room that soaked flooring , toilet etc when used so needed to use hand towels to dry as no mop.Halff a toilet roll for 2 adults for a week. Small amount of soap and washing liquid. No microwave.

Apartment was clean to the eye but more attention to detail needed very dusty in spots a little musty may not of been rented out in awhile. Toilet didnt flush properly most of the time . I dont want to come across moany as it wasnt bad just a little more attention to detail is all.

Pas de place pour ranger les valises et peu de rangement. Rien pour suspendre les serviettes, une barre dans la salle de bain aurait été utile. Attention à la marche à l'entrée qui est sombre, pourquoi ne pas mettre une bande adhésive claire... car celle-ci est peu visible quand on vient de l'extérieur.
