Carlton House Guesthouse

Really lovely area to sit and catch your breath as you come into the Building and there are leaflets for activities that are close by. The Room was quirky and comfortable and a decent size. There was a fridge and fan in the room which were a huge bonus because it was a scorching hot weekend. Bed was comfortable. Nice toiletries in the ensuite. Tea and coffee tray in the room (with decent tea bags!). Excellent communication from the owners before and after check in. Parking permit in the welcome pack and suggestions for local eateries. Lovely walks close by. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, lovely staff, excellent room, spotlessly clean, easy check in and out. Dog friendly and little park opposite for walks, and shops, cashpoint and take aways/coffee shop just around the corner- we loved it and we will be back, thank you Carlton House for making us and Napoleon the French Bulldog so very welcome.

Good location, fridge in room was a nice touch, comfort bed although a bit on the small side, quiet room. The fan in room was definitely needed in warm weather.

Lift not in use and lots of stairs, shower was next to useless, bathroom cramped for a big tall person, unable to open small windows fully to let air into room very stuffy.
