Lake view doesn’t justify the noise pollution

Even though the noise is advertised it is incredible how loud and dangerous is on both foot and by car (Not pedestrian crossing). Cars, trucks, motorbikes all passing through at high speed! There actually 4 carriage ways joining into 2. The noise was only decreasing at around 2am! If that wasn’t enough, behind the house there is a train track, so it was both the cars and trains passing noise. The house had a weird smell and it is humid. The bed is not comfortable. It rained in August and to exit the house it was terrible as the drainage is poor so you had water 15cms / 3 inches high and the stairs became a water cascade! Really unbelievable. Awful! Dangerous. We slipped! And We got completely socked trying to exit and entering the house! The lake view doesn’t justify this property price whatsoever. If this was my property I’d never advertise this for public use.

A good stay

Super clean place with a nice view. Elena is very helpfull and gives you alot of relevant information for the area ☺️

The only issue is the car noise at night. Not ideal for whoever is a light sleeper like us.

Great hosts and apartment

The location is lake-side. the apartment itself has everything you could need - coffee, cooking, washing machine, utility space etc. it’s in good condition and spotless. Elena & her husband we’re very careful about Covid, always wearing face masks and being careful with regards to cleaning and airing the apartment. It was very reassuring. Elena could not have been more responsive! We had a couple of issues, she was so accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much. The hosts really made the stay!!

The only issue about being lakeside is the main road that goes all the way round Lago Maggiore. With windows closed etc it wasn’t an issue, but does mean you can’t walk to the local Conrad easily as there is no footpath for instance. It’s not an issue as can keep windows closed with air conditioning on.

Exceptional

The lake view is priceless, the flat is very comfortable with all a family needs to feel at home. A completely kitchen with all appliances, a bedroom with double bed, a sofa bed for the kids, dining table TV in living/dining room and bedroom and large bathroom with washing mashing, shower, bidet, etc. It also has a simple to use safe. There are basically 2 terraces facing these lake, one with a dining table and the other with sun beds. The location is perfect and walking distance to town (with several choices to eat) and the beach. In the other direction is a supermarket in a small shopping mall, also walking distance but not safe to walk really. At a short drive one can explore other beaches in the area. The one across the road is a rip off to be avoided. The beach in town is small but for free. The owner of the flat is a very lovely lady, super kind, and I would always go back should I ever want to stay at Lago Maggiore again.

The house is on the main road along the lake, so lots of cars driving by. But the insulation of the house is pretty good so inside the house the noise was not noticeable.

Appartamento confortevole dotato di ogni servizio, ho apprezzato molto il posteggio privato e gratuito, in posizione strategica per le principali escursioni del luogo, situato di fronte alla pista ciclabile, splendida vista lago, Nonostante si trovi di fronte alla strada principale nel suo interno è molto silenzioso, se ne avrò occasione ci tornerò sicuramente

Appartamento pulito, comodo da raggiungere, di dimensioni adeguate per 4 persone, pulitissimo e super attrezzato. Cucina grande, nuova e comoda. Appartamento dotato di aspirapolvere e tutto quanto necessario per le pulizie. Presenza di stendino. Vista sul lago molto suggestiva. Ben riscaldato se necessario. Buona isolazione degli infissi. Proprietaria disponibile e gentile. Buon punto di partenza per raggiungere molte mete turistiche.

Niente da dire, unica difficoltà, la mancanza di un attraverso pedonale nelle immediate vicinanze.
