Great apartment, definitely recommended!

Lovely new apartment, more than enough space for a couple. Super clean and comfortable, bed very comfy, all you need in the kitchen is already there, nice bathroom, high standard. Self-check in possible with the keys in a locker. Manuela is giving clear directions and great recommendations :) We had a super relaxing break! Sunrise at the lake - good view from the balcony as a bonus and a nice garden space.

Modern apartment above Baveno

Modern and well-equipped apartment. Nespresso machine with enough capsules. Washing machine (half-size but enough). We did not meet the host in person, but communication by messaging was easy. Balcony has view of Lago Maggiore. There's a round pool, which should be nice in the summer (it was closed in autumn). The walking distance to Baveno is 20' (5' by car), so this place is best if you arrive by car.

Bathroom only has shower, no bath (my favourite). The apartment has a nice bedroom, but if you use it for more than 2 people (as we did), the second sleeping option is a sofa-bed in the kitchen/living area. The mattress of the folding sofa bed is of high quality, but of course it is less comfortable to sleep in a kitchen also because the fridge makes considerable noise (so we switched it off during the night). Finally, there are two apartments on the same floor, which connect by a door (locked in our case). That's nice in case you are more than 4 and rent both apartments, but for us it meant we could hear quite well the neighbours through this the door. These were no major issues, but since the rating of this place was very high, maybe it's worth knowing about these minor drawbacks ...

Great stay in Baveno, especially for couples.

No breakfast at the property, however very well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare great breakfasts from very fresh and tasty Italian products and make good coffee with the keurig style coffee maker. We could have had our meals on the table in the living room or on the balcony with the lake view. We liked very much the garden, small but very clean swimming pool, secure parkin place for our car. Everything there allowed us to enjoy our stay in Baveno so much!

I don't think anything can be better for this price and location.

comfortable and very good for families with kids

nice views, good facilities for kids (our kids enjoyed little swimming pool and jumping castle), very clean and modern, brand new. We had a big balcony with a terrace. There is a small town about 5 min drivw from the appartment, there you can find many restaurants and gelateria’s, playground and magnificant views of the Maggiore lake.

I could hardly find any, except that our appratment was on the second floor, thus it would not be suitable for people with dissabilities

Spotlessly clean, modern apartment & great, welcoming host

Villa Sofia was a spontaneous yet excellent choice for our short stay at Lago Maggiore. Manuela did an excellent job as our host - she reached out to us as soon as the reservation got confirmed and took us through a very simple check-in process with a contactless pick-up of the keys. She was also available at any point - whenever we needed a piece of advice or recommendation of local attractions or restaurants. Everything was fabulously organized and very well prepared for our arrival. The apartment is spotlessly clean, very spacious and equipped with everything that you might need at home away from home (including Nespresso capsules for the coffee machine). We loved mornings on the balcony with a view of the sunrise above the lake. Free-of-charge parking behind the fence was an additional advantage.

The apartment met our needs and we totally enjoyed our stay.

Situated in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood. Building and apartment was well appointed and maintained. Apartment was very clean. Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and responsive. Check-in/out was quick and easy.

Not necessarily a bad thing, location is higher up on the hill away from the commercial activities near the lake, so having access to a vehicle is advisable. However, location was central and it was easy to get to our intended destinations around the lake.

Superb

I would like to thank the owner of the apartments for very warm and pleasant welcome. The flat was very neat and modern, the same as on the pictures. The view from our balcony was on one side to the garden with goats but from the other sides to the mountains and lake - which was amazing. We were enjoyjng our breakfast each day with that excellent view. The owner was so nice that we left chocolats for her because she was helping with everythimg very quickly. 10 stars to the owner !

Beautiful apartment with fantastic owner

I really liked everything. It's just like the pictures. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was perfectly equipped. We also received gift coffee capsules and cooling water. Both the owner and her assistant were very kind and helpful. We would to go back anytime.

Great modern apartment (Diamante) with a large balcony giving fantastic views on the Lago Maggiore. Apartment is very nice, high quality and nice details. Spotlessly clean. It's like being the first guest, so new and beautiful. Easy parking on the premises. Walk to the lake is about 15 minutes through some nice ancient alleys of Oltrefiume Baveno. And above all, Manuela is an unforgettable host, never felt more welcome than in Villa Sofia!

Super verblijf, aanrader!

Mooi, schoon compleet en ruim appartement. Heerlijke tuin. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaresse die je met alles helpt. De omgeving is ook prachtig, tegen een bergwand, en het appartement is heel goed bereikbaar. Goed geluiddicht en de airco werkt fantastisch. Gewoon echt een top tijd gehad!

Wir würden wieder kommen

Wir haben die Wohnung kurzfristig gebucht, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sie liegt auf der ersten Etage, hat einen großen Balkon und eine phantastische Sicht auf den Lago Maggiore. da wir vor Ort nur einen Tag hatten und die Sicht so gut war, sind wir Tagsüber in der Wohnung geblieben und haben es genossen.
