The best and most convenient place to travel in the Lake District

The apartment was large and spacious. We took a two-bedroom apartment. The apartment had two shower rooms. The hosts Carla and Alessandro were kind and smiling and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The apartment is modern, bright and very clean. They took care of the small items that are important (there was oil, spices and aluminum foil in the kitchen) even the toilet paper was of the best quality. The apartment is located in a great area of a pedestrian street with great restaurants and cafes. The town is wonderful and without a doubt the apartment is the best place to be. Highly recommend!! The location of the town is also very convenient for trips in the area

Great apartment, great area and wonderful hosts, highly recommended

The apartment was lovely, very clean, modern. Carla and Alessandro took care of all the little details. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with spices, olive oil, and even tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine. The house is located in a lovely pedestrian street with restaurants and cafes. Free parking nearby. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area to stay there. The hosts were generous, smiling, and gave us great recommendations. Thank you, we will definitely visit again.

We spent five absolutely wonderful days at Casa Matilde in Baveno – and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! Right from the start, the communication with Alessandro was fantastic. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive before, during, and even after our stay, which made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. The apartment itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean – everything was fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated. It felt calm, comfortable, and of high quality throughout. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa Matilde and would love to return in the future. A true gem in Baveno!

We also loved the peaceful garden, which was perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. And the overall quietness was truly remarkable – we couldn’t hear the town or any neighbors at all. Total peace and tranquility.

We will definitely stay in this apartment again!

Great location in the center and at the same time a quiet location. Brand new apartments, perfect cleanliness, and everything is thought out to the smallest detail. As a bonus, there is a cozy courtyard for sunbathing or evening relaxation. The owners, Carla and Alessandro, are very nice, friendly, and helpful people

Es war wirklich toll und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine echt tolle Wohnung in einem super Zustand. Perfekte Lage an einer wunderschönen alten Straße und in wenigen Minuten an der Promenade.

Die Straße war dafür das sie verkehrsberuhigt war doch recht stark befahren und damit etwas lauter. Gegenüber war eine Kneipe und hier war immer viel los bis in die Morgenstunden. Das gehört halt irgendwie dazu wenn man in einer italienischen Stadt am Lago wohnen will.

Gegenüber befindet sich eine Cafeteria. Dort ist von 6 Uhr früh bis 22 Uhr am Abend immer sehr viel gesprächsbedarf.
