Hotel Niyagala Lodge Sigiriya

Amazing service from Isuru with very comfortable and cozy rooms and close enough to some restaurants and only 10 minutes from the rock! The AC and wifi worked great and the rooms were spacious and cozy with warm water showers and all the amenities for comfort. Waking up to birds chirping and no noise/traffic was perfect.

Staying at Niyagala Lodge was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and peaceful, the location is close to many attractions, the food is delicious, and the host Isuru is amazingly helpful. There’s also the chance to join a workshop to learn how to cook traditional Sri Lankan recipes. On top of that, Isuru easily arranged a trusted driver for us, who accompanied us for the following three days as we travelled to Nuwara Eliya and Ella, and we had a great experience with him as well. Highly recommended for backpackers but also for families.

Super mooi huisje net iets buiten het centrum waar het dus lekker rustig is. De host is super aardig en doet er alles aan om je verblijf geweldig te maken! We hebben zelfs een koppels gedaan bij de accomodatie. Ook zijn de ontbijtje elke ochtend weer een verassing en lekker! Echt een aanrader wanneer je in Sigirya bent.
