Riverstone Lodge

I was travelling solo on a motorbike and arrived very late (9pm). The communication from the accomodation was outstanding. I kept in touch with them to update on ETA and they ensured I had clear instructions for accessing the accomodation and my room and even tried to help with advising where I could safely park. They ensured my room was warm on arrival, the shower was hot with good pressure, and the tea and coffee facilities were an unexpected bonus. I also liked all the information about the local area up on the walls so people who were using the hostel as a base for local hiking had lots to read. It was very hospitable.

The bed was not the most comfortable but in terms of value for the stay it was not an issue at all.

Great value for money. We did not expect much, so it was a pleasant experience. We had a room with ensuite but we can see from the shared spaces, very clean and organized. It is basic but most importantly very clean. Room was warm, kitchen well equipped. My first experience in a shared space and it was good. Sandra the host is super helpful and friendly. We asked for permission to have our dog in our room and this request was kindly granted.

Clean and location is easy to access, parking space was arranged. Instructions to check in and check out were clear and simple
