L' Hôtellerie Easy Suites

We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in. At first, the layout felt a little unusual since you enter at basement level and then head upstairs. The rooms are accessed from a central common area where breakfast is served. What immediately stood out was that the owners clearly chose not to maximize the number of rooms at the expense of guest comfort. Instead, there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the property. That alone says a lot, and it may well make this the best small hotel we have ever stayed in. Our room was enormous and absolutely silent, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. We did encounter an issue with the air conditioning, but the way the team handled it was exceptional. They coordinated the repair smoothly, welcomed the technicians, and even cleaned the room afterward. The entire process was effortless from our perspective. The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail was truly remarkable. We liked Erik, he was such a good spirit od the place.

It’s genuinely difficult to point out anything we didn’t like. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated 16th-century building, and naturally, a few traces of its age remain. The flooring isn’t perfectly even in every spot, a couple of tiles in the shower have come loose, and the room key occasionally seems to have a mind of its own. That said, these are very minor details and, if anything, they add character and authenticity to the property. Rather than feeling like flaws, they contribute to the unique charm of staying in a historic building that has been thoughtfully restored while preserving its original personality.

This place is a gem. It's furnished with great taste. Every little detail is thought through. The hospitality was impeccable and the breakfast was delicious, varied and made with very fresh ingredients.

It would be nice to use the terrace for aperitivo in the evening, but at that time there is no staff and a drink or aperitivo on the roof terrace needs to be pre-booked, which can be a bit inconvenient.

The location was nice. My room was also nice, tho there wasn't a robe provided as stated in my reservation. The cleaning ladies and breakfast attendants were very nice and accommodating!!

The lady running the place has zero personality. She didn't acknowledge us in the mornings, just walk right past us as we were having breakfast..after breakfast she left the building. Noone was there to get any kind of service until the next morning. The bar was never open inside and the rooftop bar wasn't even in operation mode.. The pool was tiny, dirty and cold.. I sent my laundry and was told it would ready in 24 hours. It took 48 hours and some were still wet.
