Not worth the money

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to this time. While the property is in a great location—right at the top of Oia—it’s definitely not worth the price. 1. Misleading sunset view – The listing highlights a sunset view, but the windmill completely blocks the sun, making this quite misleading. 2. Worn-out facilities – The toilet seat was held together with glue and couldn’t stay in place. Drawer knobs were missing, and all the kitchen appliances were old, dirty, and basically unusable. 3. Poor air conditioning and cramped bathroom – There’s only one AC unit in the front room, leaving the back room hot and uncomfortable. The bathroom is very small, with just a handheld showerhead. 4. Transfer issue – We booked an airport transfer, but ended up having to pick up another family along the way, which wasn’t communicated to us in advance. That was frustrating, especially with an early flight. Overall, this stay did not live up to expectations, and we felt it was not worth the cost.

Two nights in heaven, in basic accomodation

The room is not luxury, but for the price in such an amazing location visitors need to factor this into their expectations. It’s great value for where it is

Missing facility

Location is the best

Booking.com showed few facilities which where not there. Example Washing machine was not there. When enquired, the management of property told that they are not aware of what booking.com was showing in the site.

Please DO NOT book this place if you don't want to ruin your precious vacation time at Santorini.

On description it looked good, especially the good location in the center of Oia. However, when we checked in on the day, except the location and outside appearance, everything inside is not true at all.

The owner provided fake information to cheat the customers. The unit provided to us is a semi-basement. The photos do not match with the real condition of the house. It is stingy and dark. And most importantly, what they listed as 2-bedroom is NOT true. There is no separate bedrooms at all. Since we are 2 couples, we could not stay in this apartment for lack of privacy. Yet, the owner charged us full 3 days of our booking even though we didn't stay at the property at all! 6/16/23 - Response to property manager's comments: I am disgusted by your response which is misleading and full of lies! 1. Yes, we arrived to your property early on our check-in date, but we only wanted to drop off our luggage so we can tour the island. Only then we found the horrible fact that it is NOT a 2-bedroom house as it is stated in our booking confirmation!!! 2. We spent about one hour with your manager on many phone calls back and forth to discuss the fake information about the rooms. You tried to provide the other real 2 bedrooms place, but only can move in next day. So we ended up staying at a much more expensive hotel. 3. You absolutely knew that we were finding the other hotel to stay and told us that you are going to charge 50% of total amount. But you have charged full amount on our credit card instead. 4. We had full intention to check in to your house. The reason we were forced to cancel our stay only because 1). You didn’t provide the product as it is listed on the contract; 2). You were NOT able to find another similar property to accommodate us! Based on these 2 facts, we feel we deserve our full refund even we agreed to pay 10% on the phone that day. 5. You had given us so far the worst experience in our entire travel history! We wasted many precious hours on Santorini trying to resolve the problem you caused by your misleading fact! Hope the other tourist will not have this kind of bad experience again.

We loved the house, very comfortable and great location. You can see the sunset from the top balcony. Boggi, our host, is very nice and attentive. They met us when we arrived and showed us the area and apartment.

Exceptional

We absolutely loved Santoimage. I was travelling from Australia with my two teenage daughters. A driver was arranged to collect us from the port - our host had kindly arranged for someone to carry all our luggage to the house and let us in. It was exceptional service as this host also collected our bags upon departure at 4:30am and carried them to our taxi to the port! I felt they went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The house was unique and in a beautiful spot overlooking the iconic windmills of Santorini. The house also came with a complete kitchen and washing machine - which was super handy after island hopping and needing to do laundry. The upstairs deck is just perfect - my daughters and I would play cards, have a drink and watch the sunset away from the CRAZY crowds of Santorini - I certainly believe it is a little hidden gem! I would highly recommend Santoimage.

Everything was like a dream come true. The location was in the heart of Oia. The home was cool quiet and perfect for relaxation and sleep. The balcony looked out over the windmill to the sunset - it was picture perfect. In the morning it had cool shade to enjoy breakfast and watch the world go by. This home had something for everyone- right in the middle of the shops for the teens, a walk to Ammoudi bay for sea food and swimming - and despite being in the middle of it all it was quiet!

Everything is perfect especially the Terace we have. We spent alot of our time in Terace. Nice view of the sunset. And the staff are very accomodating. They will help you to carry all luggages back and fort. They give us a very nice Private Cruise which is fantastic too. Marios & Admir very helpful. They even help us to print our boarding pass and PLF. Thumbs up

Beautiful,cozy cave house!

This beautiful cave house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the location and it had beautiful views of the sunset. The house is located not too far from the central part of Oia, far enough from the busy areas but not too far from where the action is. We loved that it was very close to the windmills too!

The location is excellent, great for sunsets and so convenient for walking about Oia. The house is very cute and well-equipped. Staff are very responsive and friendly.

It was a nice experience to be inside the house. It really is what it is written on the sticker: A cave house. I am not sure if this was originally a cave and then upgraded to a (very nice) house or just the way the terrain allowed for building a house.

The first picture is not actually something that belongs to the house. It belongs to the property but you must exit the living area, climb a short stair and then you are on a wooden terrace. On top of this, there is a main pedestrian road in front of this terrace. So, if you want to catch the sunset you must constantly challenge the other guys that want to see the same. They will casually lean on the fence and obstruct your view. We finally gave up...

Santoimage Is A Great Place To Stay

It had everything we could possibly have needed including a washer. The location was a very short walk to restaurants and a little farther to the store but there are boutique shops along the way. The view from the terrace was awesome. I highly recommend it as you look for places to stay.

War etwas schwierig zu lokalisieren weil die Unterkunft auf dieser Plattform nicht exakt „eingezeichnet“ ist aber dank der Windmühlen haben wir sie doch gut gefunden 😅 Heißt auch anders (siehe Foto)
