A nice place to stay

We were met personally by Boris who was a most welcoming host and gave us a good tour of the apartment and its facilities. The building was renovated to keep some of the more interesting features giving the building character and personality. The apartment was spacious and had a terrace. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac that has a great wee cafe next to public gardens and half way up the street is a lovely restaurant that also does fantastic takeaway pizza. There’s also a pharmacy.

Aspects of the apartment looked a bit tired, not as fresh as the photos show, it would benefit from a wee maintenance refresh and a better clean between visits. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but other apartments we have stayed in provided a basic store of coffee/tea/sugar/milk etc so you can a least have a cuppa when you arrive, and condiments such as salt and oil to save you from having to buy things you will only need a small amount of. The nearest store is a bit of a walk away. It was very close to the railway lines which wasn’t a huge bother for us but others may find it more distracting. It is a longer walk from the city centre than we anticipated, but you could take the tram to the station and walk from there.

giglio verde felt private and spacious and walking distance to central Florence. Car parking on the street was helpful. ground floor apartment was also good for travelling with luggage.

The property smelt really musty like cigarette smoke, I could barely stand the smell. I had a terrible headache the entire time we stayed. The cupboards smelt mouldy, and you couldn’t air the place out because you would get heaps of mosquitos inside through the open door or window. This place needs a proper clean! Thick dust and cobwebs on surfaces, scuff marks on the walls- it didn’t feel clean. Listing says Coffee Machine, there were pods but no coffee machine? If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by the train line running next to the apartment and people on the street. the apartment itself would be nice if it wasn’t let down by some basic things that need to be brought up to a better standard

Non avevamo capito che fosse un grande open space, i due letti sono ricavati in una stanza (semi aperta) e da un soppalco. Zero privacy in tutto l'appartamento. Un po' lontano dal centro a piedi, check discreto

Bulla, confusión de departamento y falta de cosas necesarias en el departamento

Yo vi la página y busqué reservar para 4 personas, y por las fotos se suponía que era otro departamento y me topo con que es una habitación para 4 personas y yo puse que sean 2 habitaciones. Se escuchaba el sonido fuerte de las personas del piso de arriba y también el sonido del tren que pasaba a lado de la casa.

Me dieron un número para que pudieran ayudarme con cosas del departamento, escribí a preguntar si tenían mantas ya que tenía frío y me dicen que lo siento que no había más y solamente teníamos una sábana, por suerte el chico que nos recibió nos ayudó para encontremos una cobija para 1 de los 4. En la cocina no había sal, azúcar ni nada que suelen tener los departamentos, al menos lo más básico. Que si uno llega a un hospedaje con cocina es para poder usarla pero no tenía nada de cosas esenciales como el resto.

No tenía cobijas, solo sábanas. no nos dieron toallas, al momento del check in nos dijeron que nos iban a llevar las toallas, estuvimos 3 días y nunca llegaron. Escribimos a los 2 números de contacto que teníamos y nos ignoraron, hubiera preferido que me digan que no podían darnos toallas a que me dejen en visto y sin respuesta.

La propreté du logement, son emplacement excentré mais facilement accessible en transports en commun.

Es un apartamento cómodo! Relativamente cerca del centro par nosotros a 25 min caminando del centro .

Se escucha el tren desde primera hora de la mañana hasta la última hora de la noche porque está al lado , lado de l vía del tren , la limpieza no era del todo como tenía que ser , sin amenities, solo un juego de toallas para 4 noches , los utensilios de cocina sucios , quemados , los armarios de la cocina algunos desvencijados, rotos …
