Located in a recently restored historic villa with 4 other modern apartments. Giglio Bianco is just outside the historic city center, in a quiet residential area, outside the limited traffic zone. This tranquil neighborhood allows for easy access to the main monuments and museums, and is only about twenty minutes by foot to the central station.
The apartment is composed of a spacious and modern kitchen with an outdoor space, a double bedroom, a full bathroom, and a mezzanine with a double sofa bed. Ideal for a family or group of friends, Giglio Bianco can accomodate up to 4 guests. Larger groups have the possibility of booking the apartment Giglio Viola on the same floor of the building. This apartment hosts up to 5 more people, and the combination of the two can comfortably accomodate large groups of up to 9 people.

In the immediate vicinity we suggest a visit to the the Giardino dell'Orticultura with boats a unique greenhouse, or the Stibbert Museum, which houses an impressive collection of weapons, armors and much more.

From the main train station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella, you can take the bus number 14 to the stop called LEONE X and then the line number 13 until the bus stop PONTE ROSSO.

The unit is lovely, really well decorated, fresh, modern and clean, but we were missing some basics that would have been a real problem if we were staying longer than a day. We did not have enough towels, we did not have sheets for the loft bed and the kitchen was equipped with really just the minimum. There was no way to light the stove and I had to go out looking for a store open at evening time (good luck!) in order to buy a lighter or matches. None of this was that bad, just inconvenient and frustrating for a family paying high season prices. The door to the balcony did not open and that was disappointing. Outdoor space and fresh air are important criteria for which renters pay extra and the pictures showed a balcony door, which I was looking forward to. If owner adds some more kitchen items, will help.
Location was great and it was an easy drive to the historical part of the city.
