Det städades inte så ofta. Så toapappret tog slut och sopporna började lukta. Men annars var det helt ok.

Fantastic location and great views. The pool is great very big but not limited to shambala guests. Spacious and comfortable

No privacy on the balcony from other guests, Merlin apartments had a loud party until 3am. Very dated interior and pool area. Bathroom is incredibly small and the floor gets absolutely saturated.

Pool was lovely. Rooms were basic but were good enough for our needs and what we wanted (a typical Greek apartment/hotel room) cleaner made sure we had regular fresh towels. Location is good as it’s not far from the beach and tavernas. We did enjoy our stay and would book again. I think it’s more ideal for a shorter stay than 2 weeks like us due to the bar and lounge area no longer in use. It may sound like we didn’t enjoy our stay but we really did and I would def recommend staying here but just be aware of its limits etc as it may not suit everyone!

1. The bar and lounge area by the pool are not open and by the looks of them have not been open for a long time. This was disappointing as we were hoping to just spend some days by the pool and be able to have a drink which were not possible and we had to go elsewhere to do. If we had known this we may have not booked the apartments. Also the pool is shared with the people who stay at Medusa apartments right next door to shamballa. And also the toilets by the pool were not open so had to use the ones in your own apartment. 2. Beds were very very hard and took us a while to get used to them and get a good nights sleep. 3. Were only provided 1 pillow per person, and me and my partner need 2. Pillows were also very flat and not very comfortable. We had to ask the cleaner for some additional pillows which she would happily get but due to cleaning they wouldn’t be available for a few days. We had to resort to buying our own to make sure we could get a comfortable night sleep. 4. As mentioned by other reviews the showers cubicles are very small. This didn’t affect us but did make it a bit more awkward to have a shower without water going everywhere in the bathroom. 5. Some of the photos are obviously very old as some areas have not been kept updated and are a bit run down (bar area etc)
