Beautiful location, basic and clean. 🦋

The area is super beautiful and lush, with magical beaches and rocks. Easy walking distance from the location. The rooms where clean and organised. Owner seems kind.

There was an issue with the shower but the owner reacted quickly. A stove and kettle would be a great addition though there is instead a plug in grill.

Villa Maria Stay in Liapades

The host was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful and helped me out when I had trouble understanding the local bus timetable. Clean and tidy room. Great value for money and overall a great experience with this host. Will definitely book again when I return to Corfu

Wonderful

Villa Maria is a lovely typical local house next to the village of Liapades, beautiful house comfortable beds, spacious parking,you have couple of cafes next to the property and the one a little bit further is cheap and there is lovely people working there. Maria and her family are really nice people,always ready to help when needed and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. I defenently recommend their accomodation for your time in Corfu,you won't regret it. Grazie mille Maria :-)

Terror movie

DON’T BOOK THIS PLACE! This was the most terror experience I’ve ever had in booking. I’ve arrived to this place at 00:00 because of my late flight the keys where at the front door when I enter the place was the most terrifying scary place I’ve ever been EVERYTHING was COMPLETELY Impure dirty Disgusting! it was traumatic. I genuinely don’t understand how a place like this is even allowed on your platform. It was a complete nightmare. Everything was filthy: the beds, the floor, the kitchen, the bathroom — it felt like no one had cleaned the place in years. The smell was nauseating, the energy of the place was dark and disturbing, and I genuinely feared for my safety. It is absolutely unfit for human use. All the beds completely dirty from other people and dust and literally Street dirt like garbage and dirt. I had no choice but to urgently find and pay for new accommodation on the same night — just to feel safe and sleep in peace.

Villa Maria is a beautiful, authentic, cozy vintage property walking distance to probably the most stunning beaches in all of Corfu. It was a very sweet stay. A family of 3 can stay comfortably. There was also a super lovely cat that comes to cuddle with the guests and the owner is very kind and responsive :)

I loved to be greeted by the cat every day, also the vintage vibe.

Basic room, comfortable, well equipped little kitchenette. We only stayed one night, but would have stayed more if our plans allowed. We couldn’t understand the other reviews, you shouldn’t book a budget room and expect 5 star quality.

Avoid This Place – Dishonest Owner & Terrible Conditions!

I booked this property for 7 nights but could only stay one night because of how horrible it was. The property has no windows, no lighting, no microwave, no kitchen, and no heating system. There wasn’t even a shower curtain. The entire place smelled awful due to the extreme humidity throughout the building. The walls were damp, moldy, and disgusting. Everything was filthy—this place is a complete dump in the middle of nowhere. When I contacted the owner, he was rude, dismissive, and treated me like an idiot. To make things worse, he refused to refund my money despite the unlivable conditions. He stole €90 from me, and I had no choice but to leave. The dishonesty and unprofessionalism here are unacceptable. If you value your time, money, and dignity, stay FAR away from this place. I wish I had seen a review like this before booking—consider yourself warned!

We stayed in another of their properties called Prada Luxury Villa as there was a problem with booking. They gave us the most beautiful villa for the same price. The parents showed us to the villa and were a lovely couple. The villa was in a very pretty village and all locals were helpful and lovely. I would like you to put this review on the prada luxury villa as you also advertise this property.

Hidden gem in Liapades

Our stay at Villa Maria was truly enchanting. The highlight was the mesmerizing garden filled with local treasures like delicious figs, juicy tomatoes, and flavorful eggplants, making every meal a delightful adventure. The cozy rooms provided a comfortable retreat. Although we encountered some minor issues, they were promptly resolved. Wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout our entire visit. Villa Maria is an absolute gem. Highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Traditional Greek place

The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with more than we needed during our stay. The bathroom is fine. Great location, easily accessible and easy to get to every part of the island by car. Great value for money and great communication with the host. Overall it is a great place to spend your evenings after exploring the island by car. Simple and very traditional.

It seemed to be hot inside when we first came, but after the first night with the fan it was just fine. There isn't a big sign on the road. We spent 5 minutes looking to find a small sign on the property. The wifi instructions were not printed out in the room, the host sent them via chat when we checked in. But it could be a challenge if you don't have mobile internet. I would prefer them printed in the room.

In spite of several shortcomings, an acceptable place for couples.

The place is quiet enough. Parking is quite easy and there is no problem with space. There is a sufficient amount of plates and cutlery. The room has beds for 3 people so the price per person is valid. I liked the mattress but it may be too hard for some people. If you are a couple you have plenty of space available.

The outside has no street lighting. The outdoor table is dirty. The floors are sticky and dirty. Both the bed sheets and the towels had not been washed and they showed stains. The kitchen and the bathroom have an unpleasant sewer smell inside. The shower has no curtain so the floor gets all wet and there is a risk of slipping on it. Overall the apartment smells humid and closed. There is no AC and the fan is a bit weak. Make sure you bring some insect repellent with you.

Close to camping experience, but bettter

The house was beautiful outside and with the little balcony and garden is quite cizy. It is not the house from the pictures when you book it. Inside... Let say it is very basic and old, but if you need a place where you spend only the night, it is ok. After we made some antimosqioto action inside and closed everything, then we bough from the store repelent electrical tablets and we had two very nice evening there :)

No mosquito nets. Bad cook facilities, so if you plan to cook for yourself, it might be a chalenge. Also the kitchen table is only outside together with the mosquitos.

Sehr günstig - sehr basic - gut gelegen

Wir waren Ende Oktober da. Der Zimmerpreis war sehr günstig. Die Gastgeberin haben wir nicht kennengelernt, aber über WhatsApp sehr nett kommuniziert und dabei gute Tipps für die Gegend bekommen. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, tolle Strände und Dörfer in Gehweite, dazu Supermarkt und Cafe um die Ecke. Mit einigem Improvisationstalent ist die Küchenausstattung okay, das Bett fanden wir bequem, das Zimmer geräumig, dazu kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus. Verkehrsanbindung gut.

Das Bad: Klo ohne Klobrille / Dusche ohne Duschvorhang, so dass der Boden nach dem Duschen und lange danach voll Wasser war / Die Küchenausstattung könnte mit einem Schneidebrett und einem zusätzlichen Küchenmesser verbessert werden.

Avevo optato per un alloggio con angolo cottura ma all'artivo ho visto che non c'era. Bagno piccolissimo, scomodo e sporco, per mangiare si doveva per forza apparecchiare fuori dalla porta. Asciugamani mai cambiati in quattro giorni. Per 60 euro a notte c'è di molto meglio, lo sconsiglio assolutamente

Sehr Basic aber relativ preiswert in der Hauptsaison.

Die Besitzerin war freundlich und hat Tips über WhatsApp gegeben. Die Lage ist auch nett, man sollte aber am besten mobil sein.

Kein Toilettensitz und kein Duschvorhang und keine Seife im Badezimmer. Keine Klimaanlage und Ende Juli reicht der Ventilator leider kaum aus.

La ducha encharca todo el baño :-(

Aunque necesitarás coche para todo la ubicación es buena. Está cerca de calas muy bonitas de la isla (no para ir a pie, pero en coche muy cerca). Tenía una terraza muy maja donde poder tender y sentarte. La chica del alojamiento la cual no vimos en persona se mostró cordial y amable en todo momento vía whatsap.

La ducha era un despropósito. Era imposible ducharte sin que se saliera todo el agua por todas partes. Los colchones son pésimos, las sábanas estaban sucias y había muchos insectos. No recomendaría este lugar en invierno porque tienes que helarte de frío. En definitiva, es un sitio para dormir sin más y en ningún caso para hacer vida allí. No esperes mucho porque el lugar en sí es cutrecillo. No pagaría más de 300 euros por una semana. Pagar más de 300 euros me parece una barbaridad. No lo vale!

Studené pokoje, bez možnosti se ohřát,v noci nepomohla ani tenká deka, při sprchování tekla voda po podlaze až do pokoje majitelka nekomunikativní, slíbila v den ubytování dodat vařič, který ale do 10.hodiny ráno následující den nedodala. Raději jsme se sbalili a našli si jiné ubytování.,i když nám peníze propadly.Sice byla daleko široko nejlevnější,ale asi věděla proč. S horším ubytováním jsem se ještě nesetkal a nespal bych tam příště ani zadarmo.

Vše hrozné. Paní domácí měla vypnutý telefon, na ulici nás odchytil starý pán, který mluvil jen řecky. Odvedl nás ke starému zanedbanému domu. Pokoj se starými postelemi špinavé povlečení. Koupelna na chodbě špinavá a páchnoucí. Neobyvatelne. Museli jsme si najít jiný apartmán. Majitelka nám odmítla vrátit penize. Podvodné jednání. Řeším s Bookingem.

Mega fajna lokalizacja, jako baza wypadowa ;)

Za cenę, która zapłaciłem wszystko było ok. Lokalizacja kapitalna, do pięknych i wyjątkowych plaż, było dość blisko zważywszy na wielkość wyspy. Miejsce zacienione, więc panuje miły chłodek właściwie przez cały dzień. Co jest nie bez znaczenia w gorącej Grecji. Blisko duży super market, piekarnia ze wspaniałym chlebem w cenie 1,20 euro za duży bochenek. Tuż za rogiem fajna nowoczesna kafejka. Jest darmowy parking dla samochodu. Zacieniony taras ze stołem i krzesłami. Pobyt przebiegł całkowicie bezproblemowo. Mega fajna lokalizacja, jako baza wypadowa ;) Miejsce godne polecenia, dla osób niewybrednych... które, zdają sobie sprawę z faktu niskiej ceny za czym idzie... hmmm... niski standard ;) Jeżeli już to wiemy i się decydujemy - całkowicie polecam ten obiekt, na miły i spokojny wypoczynek w pięknych okolicznościach przyrody :) Polecam.

Неплохие апартаменты для такой стоимости аренды,да уже довольно старые , но в принципе за такую стоимость вполне сойдет , особенно если Вы планируете активный отдых и проводить там минимум времени )) Пляж находиться примерно в 1,5 км ближайший , до остановки в город 500 метров примерно, есть еще в 1 км примерно остановка на пляж Палеокастрица,если Вы на авто , то вам без разницы эта информация . Есть рядом неплохая кафешка , где можно выпить кофе с вкусной выпечкой , супермаркет тоже есть , но с маленьким ассортиментом , таверны если пройти чуть дальше , первая примерно в 500 метрах .

Непонятно зачем на кухне много посуды таких как кастрюли , сковороды , когда плитки никакой на месте нет , микроволновка тоже не работает и спрашивается а зачем тогда она там стоит в номере , видимо для красоты)) Мне то это было не принципиально, поскольку я особо ничего не готовил …
