Paradise Studios

Although a downhill walk to beach and back up we liked location as we did swim but were more into the very old part of town and nearby villages with incredible views and some great food. Very close to eateries and grocery markets. We had two studios in the lovely building and both were very clean. In my studio with husband was a small sofa, small table and good kitchen area plus two lovely terraces offering sun or shade and nice outlook. Lady was nice and friendly from booking and right through our stay. A nice young man was very helpful when we found the roadside parking area opposite a grill house. Loved the big frog statues (most people have lions) either side of our steps near owners lovely private garden. Ww did not use the kitchen but it seemed to have all the basics and great having 3 places to sit and eat, drink or chat in our apartment.

Maybe some shower gel and an extra roll of loo paper would have been handy but we had some gel and shampoo in our luggage.

Quiet and two balconies

Bed a bit uncomfortable but helped by putting spare quilts on top of the mattress

Wonderful apartment with everything you need. Very friendly owners. 50 meters from the bus stop. There is free parking.

The pillows were uncomfortable for me.

The AC was optimal. So was the location - close to the bus and fairly close to beaches. The room was clean and the beds were more than OK. We got towels. Stove, fridge, kettle - worked. A large balcony as well. Mr. Host Man was very nice. The rooms definitely looked like they do on pictures, so that is nice.

There was current running through (or static building up) in the shower battery - it was awful (and painful). Smell wasn't fresh at all. Walls were thin, noisy and less noisy neighbors could be heard even from 3 rooms away. Fridge was so loud we had to turn it off for the night, our neighbors AC was unusually noisy. WiFi basically didn't work - don't rely on it. Every tap was leaking loudly and the toilet wouldn't flush anything except for liquids. One of the lamps over the bed was not working. Out of 5 days I had two instances of hot water just not flowing. Had to shower in cold water. Also, no insect protection in the main window to the balcony.
