Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a peaceful and well-located place

The location is beautiful, with a great view of the river. Easy to reach by train. The room was clean and had a wardrobe. It was very quiet at night. There are cafés nearby. A bus stop to the castle is not far away. Good Wi-Fi connection (you just need to ask for the password at the reception).

There was no shampoo or shower gel provided.

This is a perfectly fine hotel, although a bit simple in style. The price is quite affordable.

The price was quite affordable. The room was clean and simple, and large enough to have a sitting area, as well. We arrived by bikes, and the family had a garage easily available for storing the bikes. The restaurant was serving food which looked very nice, but we did not eat there.

We had to have out bikes out of the garage very early in the morning to accommodate the family's needs. We rented a single room for our 3rd traveler, but there could have been space for a temporary bed in the sitting area, if the hotel had chosen to make that available. The language barrier between us seemed more difficult here than with other hotels we stayed in .

No better price-quality ratio

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful! In one room the sheets had tiny stains, no big deal for us, so we mentioned it and she immediately reacted incredibly professional and had everything sorted out! The location is also perfect, right on the main road by the water! Views from the rooms are also beautiful!

I don't really have anything I didn't like, but something worth mentioning: there's no shampoo and conditioner or shower gel, also the shower water pressure was in my room at least quite weak.

Very close to train station and bus station to Burg-Eltz. Lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful, especially considering I only spoke English and she spoke German

Not much to do in town if staying during the off-season. I recommend bringing food if you are train dependent because the only thing open after 5 was a wine vending machine.

River views, great hosts, and easy walking distance to the wine bars.

A cute and quiet hotel with a view of the river. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and let us leave our bags for the day so we could bike to Burg Eltz.

Wifi didn’t reach our room, but otherwise no complaints.

Room basic but good size. Host provided missing info and remote quickly.

'closed for today' on front door. After 10min and 2 unanswered phone calls the door suddenly opened. Had to go back for wifi info and tv remote because both were not in room.

Einmal und nie wieder!!

Der Empfang war teilweise freundlich, wenn man davon absieht, dass es ME überhaupt nicht geht, dass der Wirt vor dem Lokal sitzt und raucht. Das war es dann aber schon, denn 1. Es gab - trotz 65€ für die Übernachtung KEIN Frühstück ( damit haben wir auch nicht gerechnet ). 2. Es gab auch nichts zum Abendessen, obwohl es eine große Karte mit überwiegend überteuerten Gerichten gab. 3. Man hat uns empfohlen, die Fahrräder im abgeschlossenen Garten zu parken. Soweit OK, obwohl eine Radgarage mit Lademöglichkeit heutzutage Standart sein sollte. 4. Die vordergründig gute Möglichkeit des sicher verwahrten Fahrrades hat sich am nächsten Morgen als großes Hindernis herausgestellt, denn der Garten wurde erst um 9:15 Uhr geöffnet. Man hat uns also um über eine Stunde mit hungrigem ( siehe 1.) Magen warten lassen. Wir waren dem Wirt komplett ausgeliefert. Ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl. So geht man nicht mit Gästen um!!

sauber und sehr gut geschlafen

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Das Zimmer war aufgrund eines Wasserschadens ein anderes, aber überraschend groß, gemütliches Bett, sauber und eigenes Bad. Trotz Hochzeit in der Location nebenan haben wir herrlichen geschlafen. Lage direkt an der Mosel.

Wir waren wandern und mit dem Check-in bis 18 Uhr ist es sehr knapp geworden. Eine Option (bspw. Schlüsselsave) für bereits bezahlte Zimmer wäre super.

Niets beviel me kamer en beddengoed niet schoon Stopcontacten stond geen stroom op In een woord waardeloos Had twee nachten geboekt maar ben na een nacht vertrokken. Achteraf een goede keus voor het zelfde geld wel een goede kamer gevonden

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden (als Fahrradfahrer)

Der Fahrradabstellplatz ist sicher und vor Regen geschützt. Der Hinterhof, in dem die Fahrräder abgestellt werden, wird nachts abgeschlossen – das finde ich gut. Kurz nach 9 Uhr morgens wird der Hof wieder geöffnet. Wenn man früher losfahren möchte, sollte man das einplanen. Das Laden von Akkus im Zimmer ist erlaubt. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Eine gute Alternative zur Übernachtung in Cochem. Der Bahnhof ist in der Nähe und man erreicht Cochem schnell. Aus dem Zimmer habe ich einen schönen Blick auf die Mosel. Die Matratze war hart, genau das mag ich, da es gut für meinen Rücken ist. Für mich war sie daher sehr angenehm. Für andere kann das natürlich subjektiv unterschiedlich empfunden werden Die Nacht war sehr ruhig, obwohl das Hotel an einer Straße liegt. Nachts gibt es dort kaum Verkehr, sodass es angenehm leise ist.

Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten und ein Supermarkt ist nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe – man sollte die Verpflegung daher im Voraus planen. Mit dem Auto kann man jedoch leicht ins Nachbardorf fahren und dort einkaufen. Es gibt kein WLAN, Fernsehen, was mich persönlich überhaupt nicht gestört hat. So konnte ich im Urlaub endlich mal einen kleinen Internet, Fernsehen -Detox machen – und genug Datenvolumen hatte ich sowieso Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn zumindest Wasser oder kleine Snacks gegen klein Aufpreis im Hotel erhältlich wären.
