I wish I could have given the Sedona Sanctuary 5 stars but I just couldn’t. Our host, Mary was nice and accommodating. However, the unit was very outdated. The bedroom was okay and clean but the rest was worn out, carpet was old, the faux leather of the couch had cracks and bare patches and some of the drawers in the kitchen were falling out. It smelled dusty and old even though Mary removed a rug that had a distinct smell. I honestly don’t understand how guests could have given this place a 10/10. I will never stay here again and will not recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host stopped by to make sure we were settling in okay and then was available if we needed them (which we didn't, as all was in order). The place as perfect for us. Although it was on 89A, the house was quiet and the view of the Red Rocks spectacular. There was a welcome book that included useful maps, suggestions for hike, a park hang tag, and other local information. There were great restaurants within walking distance and Uptown Sedona was a short (3 mile) drive away.This is the best place we stayed in our two week trip to the west coast) from Buffalo, NY The hiking was great!

I got turned around at the roundabouts. Mary stayed on the phone with me the whole time till i got here. BTW, mapquest doesnt work in uptown Sedona. Blame it on the vortex!

We had a great time in Sedona. This location was perfect for us and close to all the great hiking locations. It was quiet and a great space for us. We met Mary and she was kind and gave us information on some places to visit and hike. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent 4 nights in this VRBO. Everything was wonderful from the beginning communication, to the check in procedure, to the warm, spacious rooms. The laundry was appreciated. We loved the unit. Lovely kitchen amenities all comforts of home, seasonings including. What nice decor. Close to everything in town. Great view of mountains. Nice host. Very clean with air purifiers. Host was very welcoming lots of information about Sedona. You really feel you are part of family. Mary was a wonderful host. Plus there was not an exorbitant cleaning fee.

Much more pleasant than staying in a cookie-cutter hotel room! Laid back southwest charm located in the midst of all the West Sedona has to offer. Our host was there when we arrived to show us all the features of the unit and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. We looked forward to a return visit!

Very nice place on second floor with view of Thunder Mountain on the main road into Sedona. In cooler months within walking distance to grocery store, etc. Excellent locally-owned/operated restaurant right across the street. Bedroom has evaporative/swamp cooler but is comfortable by around 10 in the hottest part of the summer. Host was very accommodating and met us at the unit; zero issues with the unit nor with check in. Would definitely recommend.

This apartment is roomy, inviting, and clean. Upon our check in we walked into a cozy, warm place with heaters on and an electric fireplace running. What a nice welcome. The owner was responsive. There is a lovely view out the living room windows. The location seems pretty centrally located.

Our stay was nice, the location was great and convenient to get to shops and trails even though it is located upstairs from and in the same parking lot as a side by side rental company. Parking was great, and there were no issues with not having room to park. The unit was slightly dated but it was nice and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental to anyone looking to get out and see sites.

The place was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen--a Cuisinart blender, plenty of prep bowls, an electric kettle and even green pans. The washer and dryer were so nice to have and I even took the backpack and parking pass with us while hiking. Not to mention the super dark blackout drapes in the bedroom! We were really impressed with this place and recommend it if you are planning a trip to Sedona--it's also centrally located and easily accessible.

Heavy fast traffic make Sedona a difficult city to drive in. Parking a bit difficult and highway noisy. But location was not a problem, and was convenient for our needs and wishes. Very clean and modern, good repair, host most helpful and very available. We would return, and do recommend.

This place was perfect for our stay in Sedona. The location was central to everything and we had everything that we needed in the apartment. Check in was super easy and Mary was available if there was anything that we needed. To call out, it is on the main road, so while central, it was a little loud, but it didn't bother us! We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and comfortable. Has everything you need. Very clean. Great view out the front window and "balcony/walkway". Easy to get to and close to groceries, fuel, restaurants. A bit of a drive ( 10 minutes) to "downtown" and all the action, but close to multiple trailheads which is why I was there. Amy was very friendly and accessible if you needed her. Not fancy by any means, but 10/10 I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! My husband and I stayed for seven nights and felt really at home from day one. We loved the comfy bed, the room darkening shades, the washer and dryer and the huge TV. After a day of hiking and exploring Sedona, it was so nice to come to this apartment and relax. The location was very convenient to all of the Sedona area on the main road. The traffic is busy during the day but much quieter by the time we got home from our activities so it didn't bother us. The host, Mary, was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions right away. We can't wait to stay here again!
