Hotel De' Ricci - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

We had an amazing time at De' Ricci, we truly felt the special attention of the staff. They were helpful and always ready to respond to our needs. Their manners were the perfect combination of professional and friendly, which was quite comforting. In our room the amenities, the toiletries, the design, the furnitures, everything was very cozy and lovable.

I felt just a tiny discomfort about ants in the room. I left some clothes on the floor, next to the wall and the last morning I found that a small ant colony was on it, actually biting tiny pieces out of my socks, living small holes on it. I actually found it somewhat funny, that the ants were chomping on it, but at the same time it wasn't great

- I could (faintly) hear my neighbor's alarm at 6:45am - I expected a slightly bigger bathroom - Water pressure in the shower could be better - Small dining room meant I could hear everyone's conversations - The room was rather dark with the closed curtains

A wonderful stay in a genuinely quiet corner of Regola, right off Via Giulia and an easy walk to Trastevere. The reception team were professional and warm throughout — Daniele in particular made us feel completely at home, always with a big smile and real energy, and he was a huge help booking restaurants for us. The room itself was beautifully styled and well-sized, with a small balcony that made it feel even more like a home than a hotel. Some places don't just host you for a few nights — they make you feel like you already belong there.

The location is not bad.

We are perhaps spoiled, but not got the luxury feeling very much. It was not very good cleaned, carpet stains and the breakfast was just not at all. Very poor. Trying to be upclass and in our opinion missed the target. Location was great, bed was comfortable. It was as well a bit strange to ask for tips at checkout but ok. Anyway, it was not horrible, just not worth the price in our opinion.
