The location and the amenities
Although it was stated there were no lifts in the building the number of stairs (over 50) unfortunately was understated some could argue misleading. Perhaps a more accurate description of the difficulty may help others to make an informed decision for their age or limited mobility.

In the middle of everything! Location is perfect. Clean, well stocked kitchen, pleasant design.
The only small wardrobe in the bedroom was filled up all the way to the top with extra mattress, pillows, some other things, so there is no place to hang your clothes. We managed to live out of the suitcases for a few nights.

The place is beautiful clean and very well located, waking distance from anything you will need to see in town. A really excellent place to stay visiting Edinburgh.
The problem we had is the water pressure who is not enough to have a shower.

Brilliant location.
The communal areas were very dirty and there were residents smoking in the indoor communal areas. Litter left on stairs including an empty whisky bottle.
If you apply the ‘parking’ filter, this accommodation comes up but there is no parking with it.
