The host was great to work with before during and after our stay. The flat is gorgeous and even better than the photos can show. The location is perfect- right on the Royal Mile - easy to get to everything!

my husband and I met up with our daughter to tour some sties. The flat was ideally located for walking and nicely equipped. lovely views form the front room

If you need just a shower and a place to crash (with a nice view) somewhere central (beware weekend noise from passing all-night revellers, from street) this place is fine. However, It feels clinical and cold (metaphorically and physically); bedrooms heat up eventually but not main room (or bathroom - towel radiator not working) because ceilings are v high and there are no rugs, no curtains/blinds or homely touches/few soft furnishings in the living space. Basic pans & crockery (no dishes to cook in) . Few helpful provisions ie only a couple of tea bags and S&P (no oil, honey/sugar, coffee, flour, basic dried herbs/spices). Have stayed in equally central but more comfortable, well resourced Edinburgh homes than this one, with personal service of the owner rather than business run, find on another well known site (no lock box for keys at the property itself).
