    Checked in . Had to change rooms because tv wasn't working. New room was very nice. I thought that I was getting breakfast included, which wasn't correct. The reception staff were great.

    The location was good and if on the upper floors, the views would be lovely. The building could have done with a bit of upgrading works, esp the sofas inside the ground floor. There is a variety of games that my girls played till late at night, but the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. We had a family room at the basement, which upon checking in was very dusty and not cleaned for some time. Musty smell, no toiletries (luckily we had packed our own shower gel/shampoo). It was quite damp and cold for us. They couldn't start the central heating to the rooms and there wasn't any portable heating but they found us an extra duvet to cover up with. (one of us had a surgery recently and thus felt the cold a lot more) The basement room was also quite noisy when people were walking/running above us. (Late at night or early morning) The staff were very friendly and made up a bit for the let down of the room. The next morning, had requested for the room to be vacuumed which was done and made it much more pleasant sleeping in the next 2 nights. Overall, probably the rooms above ground level would be a nicer stay.
