    Good location for local pubs and coffee shops within 8 minutes walking. (Nearesy pub 3 minutes) Can also have a drink in the hotel's dining room. Continental breakfast with a variety of cereal (and a nice touch having pumpkin seeds and pine kernels for sprinkling). Asked for Greek Yoghurt, which was available and fresh filter coffee. A good variety of fresh fruit and a fabulous mixed fresh fruit salad. Toast was offered, which we declined and croissants were on the buffet with sliced cheese and cold meats. We had stairs to negotiate to the room and had a fan for the heat. Exceptionally friendly staff on arrival and at breakfast made sure everything was in order. We were asked for a copy of ID documents or passports on arrival, which was only inconvenient as this was not asked for or mentioned in our booking. Luckily I could go onto the hotel wifi and search my phone for documents, of which I luckily had an e-copy. As this was insisted on (from management) it could gave posed a real issue...We are British Citizens and did not expect this! Perhaps "management" can add this requirement to the bookings?

    I stayed for just one night at Blanch house and I highly recommended!The accommodation is beautiful and extremely comfortable and most importantly to me as a solo female travelling was that I felt extremely safe .The lady on reception was so welcoming and personable ,She’s a real credit to the team! I can not imagine staying any where else in Brighton ! Many thanks Blanch house x

    The hotel is situated in Kemptown which although isn't the best of areas was very handy for us and just a stones throw from the seafront. The staff were very helpful. The room was small but lovely and bathroom was very clean and modern. Breakfast was included and was very nice. The hotel was decorated well and modern although an older building. All in all very pleased and would definitely stay again.
