Great location. Comfortable and clean. This is a hostel really and it attracts interesting folk. So we enjoyed the clientele and meeting the owner
When you get there, it does not look like it’s pictures. There are dumpsters at the front and you enter through a side entrance
It put us off enough to think about going somewhere else, but we Persians it was fine

Quiet, value for money. Comfy bed. Was exactly what it advertises
It was a in a little need of tlc but I slept well and the shower/toilet all fine. Nothing to complain about. Great for on a budget

I liked the host very much. An easy going friendly man. The en suite room I had was clean and quiet and comfortable. Ideally situated for visits to Cambridge city and Duxford Air museum. With good parking for car and bus stops close by. And furthermore 100 yards away Scotsdales. Garden centre and restaurant.
I lived in the Lodge for a fortnight and very little to dislike.

The price! Shelford House is on a bus route into the City Centre and near to Addenbrookes hospital. The hotel was quiet.
I did not see any staff during my stay, except the manager, who knocked on my door shortly after I had arrived, to make sure that I had the right key to my room! The breakfast was basic (cereals, toast and spreads) served in a small breakfast room which, itself was very basic.
