Wendy and John made us extremely welcome - Wendy even sharing sewing experiences and tips with my wife Sue. The room was cosy, with small anti/dressing room plus en-suite shower room. Extremely high standard of fittings all done by John, obviously a skilled craftsman in plumbing and wood.
We welcomed the sanctuary of being out of town by half a mile, but the hilly approach might test the less experienced driver. A four wheel drive vehicle would be an advantage in winter

Everything! The property and views are beautiful.
The breakfast has so much choice and is delicious.
The hosts, John and Wendy go over and above in every way.
Nothing is too much trouble and they will make you feel the most welcome in their home.
The rooms are lovely and cosy and have great little balconies to sit out on and enjoy the views.
John and Wendy are so helpful in guiding you on places to visit, directions, places to eat etc.
We loved the friendly atmosphere and met guests who have been returning for years.
We can definitely be added to that list and are looking forward to returning to our 'home from home' asap.

Fantastic location with amazing views and scenery. The property was stunning, very well maintained, and finished beautifully throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Wendy and John are amazing hosts who would go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They offer great advice for places to visit and simply have a very warm and friendly nature. The breakfast was perfect, the best tasting full english I’e had for as long as i can remember. We will be returning without a doubt, highly recommend!
It’s really hard to think of any negatives about our stay.
