Good location, busy road though, you will be hearing police / ambulance etc through day and night. Close to the castle.

The flat could benefit from some refresh, shower very low pressure, WiFi not working intermittently, but clean and beds comfy enough.

Disappointing

very scratchy apartment. no coffee machine, hooks for clothes and towels. Nothing has been done to make it comfortable and Nice. the stairwell is very uncomfortable to walk on and be in. Find another apartment.

Great apartment in central location.

The flat is very spacious and walking distance to many of the major tourist sites. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby too. Kitchen was well equipped. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the spiral staircase can be a challenge, but we knew about that when we booked (picture attached since there doesn't appear to be one posted yet).

Unfortunately the washing machine was not working. For a 2 week stay, we purposefully looked for accommodations that had a washing machine available (this amenity is still listed as being available and should be removed). Having said that, the host did offer a pick-up/drop-off laundry service which was helpful, but not as convenient.

Great location in Edinburgh, a lot of space and comfortable.

Property location was great! The flat is has described, very big and directly on Lothian road. The rooms are big and if you travel with family members it's quite practical. It's extremely useful that there is a washing machine :)

Several things in the flat were not clean: the bathtub had hair, the sink in the kitchen was not clean and the pans (2) were oily (one had egg remainings). Pans and pots were a bit old (one casserole was rusty) which is a bit of a pity when you're there and want to cook. Flat would have been amazing otherwise. Word of advice: bring some earplugs for the street sound if you are sensitive to noises (ambulance sirens).

some of the reviews of this place are a harsh, yes the entrance to the property is not the nicest. however having stayed in similar residential properties all over the world, this is by no means the worst! One of the lower flats did stink out the hallway with a very strong “herbal” smell… not naming flat numbers as I’m not a grass! Irrelevancies aside, the place itself is great, spacious and airy and has everything you need. it’s location is perfect and the property manager was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to a bigger group too!

only complaint was the shower head attachment holder did not work, meaning showering was not perhaps as comfortable as at home. but no complaints other than this, would definitely stay again. thank you for having me and my partner.

Disappointing

Here are some of the reasons why we were dissatisfied with our accommodations. First, there was a strong odour of paint when we arrived, which did not dissipate until the next morning. Second, the stairwell was filthy and dark, making us nervous about our safety. Third, the bathroom facilities are in desperate need of improvement. With six of us, bathing became a chore because the water pressure from the shower head was low and hot water was sometimes unavailable. Fourth, even on the fourth floor, the sound insulation was poor, making it easy to wake up in the middle of the night due to noise. Looking back at feedback from a few years ago, these issues were raised numerous times, but there is still no intention of improvement. If you are considering visiting Edinburgh, you may want to consider our comments; we are not complainers; we simply see that the old problems persist and the owners do not appear to be paying attention, so perhaps we will not give this room another chance next time!

Will not stay here again, put a dampener on our time away to the Christmas market

The location was very good

Lights on concrete stairs did not work had to climb 3 flights practically in the dark, had to change own light bulbs in flat as they did not work, no heating was on and it was 4degrees when we arrived, main toilet did not flush, couldn’t close door in other toilet as not enough room to close door once you were in, couldn’t use over the bath shower as the shower head would not sit upright and it was very, very slow, would have taken a day to shower, family of 5 had to wash at the sink everyday, certainly not the best we have had for the money we paid, will not recommend this property to anyone

En ce qui nous concerne rien à dire, mais je peux comprendre que pour des personnes un peu diminué physiquement le côté des 70 marches à monter pour se rendre à l'appartement puissent être un problème, de notre côté cela n'en a pas été un.
