The Salt House

Great location, outside space, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and nice touches like milk and water provided.

Shower drain a little smelly. A few maintenance jobs to be done.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and restored. We loved the veranda outside the bedroom and the roof terrace. The bathroom was huge with a really nice rainfall shower and plenty of hot water. Also lovely touches like tooth brushes and toothpaste, body wash etc. the kitchen was well equipped and there was a very thoughtful gift basket. There was also beach towels, a bag, umbrellas that you could use too, and even a couple of straw hats. The bed linen and towels were all of excellent quality. Smart TV was great too, as well as WiFi. Be aware that the steps up are quite steep so if you struggle, bear this in mind. We did get confused with which door was ours but the door for the upper apartment is around the side - no. 20. We would recommend this place.

Only one little niggle, and other people have mentioned it… the bed, whilst beautiful and incredibly comfortable, really did creak! If you’re a light sleeper with a restless sleeper, this could wake you. If it helps the side near the window is the creakiest and the side near the wall is not so bad!

Very clean and beautiful aesthetically. Located so close to the best spots in the town. Very responsive and accommodating hosts too.
