Well appointed, very comfortable it had everything you needed including a fantastic outdoor space and was a great location to restaurants, shops and local amenities

Großzügige Ferienwohnung als ein großer, offener Raum. Das Appartment war sehr sauber, die Küche vollständig ausgestattet. Es gibt eine sehr große Terasse mit Sitz- und Liegemöbeln. Man kann hier sonnenbaden oder im Schatten sitzen und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Wasser. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert.

Es gibt eine sehr steile Treppe von unten hinauf in die Ferienwohnung, man sollte also noch körperlich mobil sein. Abends auf der Terasse sitzend, ist die Geruchsbelästigung durch die Dunstabzüge der vielen umliegenden Restaurants je nach Windrichtung teilweise recht stark.

Fantastic stay! The location is fabulous with a great view over the market and marina, right on the main strip and in the old town but it didn't feel too busy. The bed was really comfortable, great shower and bath. Everything we needed! Plus there was a giant Stork nest a few rooftops over so it was amazing to see the big storks flying past occasionally! And the host was really responsive and was able to let us have a late check out as our flight was in the evening. Would definitely go back. Olhao is such a magical wee place (walk along past the marina centre car park to the nature park to see wonderful birdlife inc flamingoes!)

The only thing that might be notable for others is that the bathroom is not in a separate room. There is a dividing wall but it is not fully up to the ceiling. Wasn't an issue for us but could a considertation for others.

Initial thoughts were wow! thoughtfully designed, light and modern with nice touches, comfortable bed, large fluffy towels, quality toiletries, lots of hot water and a powerful shower. There was a good supply of toilet paper, washing up liquid etc, plenty crockery and glasses, fabulous to have washing machine, Location is ideal, supermarket very close, an easy walk to train station , bus and water ferry across the road.

I wanted to love it, but Regrettably after a day or two the smell from the neighbouring restaurant extractor fan made the huge terrace unusable for me. it didn’t bother my husband, so depending on your tolerance to smells it may not be an issue. Having said that I’m unsure how the host could remedy this given the nature of the property. Other than a hanging rail there is no storage for clothes for a stay of more than a few days. A little maintenance is required to keep the property up to standard but perhaps this was because it was the end of the season. the stairs inside to the apartment look stunning but as others have mentioned are very steep and uneven, extreme care is required and definitely not suitable for those with limited mobility.
