Secluded getaway great for family

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet setting. Great to hear and see the train passing from the back garden.

Mattress in the double room of the first floor was a little worn so that two people in it rolled towards the middle.

Relaxing in a lovely cottage in a beautiful area.

The cottage and location were superb. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. A "home from home" decorated to our taste and very comfortable. So much to see and do in the surrounding area. Will be booking again for a longer stay next May!

The showers were both over the bath rather than walk in. Not usually a problem but this time had a knee injury so very difficult to get in and out of bath - just unfortunate timing to get a problem with knees!

Location on edge of Broadway is lovely. Great village. Nice outdoor garden area and rooms are all nice. Easy private parking.

it was not very clean when we arrived. I have two ASD daughters and we were staying just to allow our new house to be finished. Had to reclean the bathrooms and kitchen for them. TV in my room never worked. I had to change the batteries in the remotes. kitchen the most bizarre ly out or items imaginable. Met the cleaners and they were lazy and difficult making a pretty unecessary fuss about us checking out late which alas a crisis caused. owners very tetchy and even wanted to charge us extra after a £3400 stay. alas we had few options. and girls didn’t like change to difficult to escape. very disappointing but got us through to the new house which is amazing.

Fantastic few days.

Such a pretty village. Very quiet, but lovely walks. No amenities in village, but we were happy to enjoy the peace. Everywhere easily accessible by car..

If I had to complain about anything- it would be that you couldnt stand up to shower in attic bathroom, as an open bath. (Beautiful, but not so practical) Had to sit down, or water would end up on floor!! So ended up showering in first floor bathroom!

Great place to stay - I would recommend Swallows rest to others and very happily return again myself

The location was stunning, overlooking beautiful countryside, and the gardens were in keeping with the country cottage feel. The property was very clean and the decor to a high standard. The wine and chocolate biscuits were a lovely touch. Great base to access many gorgeous surrounding Cotswold villages.

The gas fire was tricky to turn on, taking many attempts to get it lit.

Breakfast N/A. The location was excellent: in a very pretty, quiet village. Nice garden which ended in fields with sheep and a couple of friendly goats!

Had a wonderful stay with friends in a delightful cottage, plenty of space inside & beautiful views

Location was great. Cleanliness excellent. Loved the fact that tea,coffee condiments milk & lovely chocolate biscuits waiting for our arrival.

The recycling waste could have been clearer. List inside telling what went in blue bin. Each council have different do's & don'ts. Would have liked the double beds to have been 5ft. But okay for a few nights
