We had a lovely weekend. The tasting menu was nice however slightly overpriced.

Breakfast food and staff were excellent. Staff were very friendly and engaging.

Evening meal food was not hot enough, our starters were given to the wrong table and despite going back to kitchen they were not hot enough when returned.

Magical

What an incredible joy to stay there. You step back in time, lovely building full of history. It’s so quite , we lived it. They have a great staff who makes you feel at home and makes you laugh. For sure we will come back in spring.

Great short stay with plenty of ambience

Too many things did bot work or work well enough, on example is there were no C or USB connectors and extra plug locations very weak. Nicer to have earlier breakfast, saun 7:00 am.

Location was excellent. Service at breakfast was a little slow especially on our last day when we explained that we had to leave by 8.30 am to get to a funeral. Dinner on our first evening was very good.

Hotel is beautiful and food is excellent

There is a limited choice of four unchanging main courses on the set menu, though there was a "special" available one evening. No a la carte menu was offered. No chance of a Michelin Star as things stand. The standard of housekeeping was somewhat patchy, with used towels left in the bath one day.

A truly special country manor house in a beautiful setting in the Cotswolds.

We enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor very much. The house, gardens and setting are beautiful and the hotel is conveniently located close to many charming villages in the Cotswolds. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival by Hasini, and throughout our stay all of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We especially enjoyed our comfortable room and view of the gardens, walking the paths from the hotel to nearby villages, and the warm greeting each morning from Michael in the dining room and the delicious breakfasts. Our stay was truly special and we highly recommend Buckland Manor.

Charming old building in lovely setting.

Becoming a little dated, more for old Americans than today’s discerning traveller. An update similar to the Devonshire Hotel (Chatsworth) would draw in a wider clientele. We say that as lovers of antiques and Relais & Chateaux.

I would say good but for someone having the Relais des Chateaux shield I do expect much more

Excellent breakfast. Good dinner but room to dark and wrong light.

Rooms bad smell of humidity or others. Old TV and poor channels portfolio options. Bathrooms non practice. Water temperature difficult to set or not intuitive.

Perfect overnight stay At the lovely Buckland manor hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, very comfortable beds, afternoon tea was amazing as was the breakfast, we didn't have dinner but we have dined at the restaurant before and we can't fault the food, Sunday lunch is delicious. All the staff looked after us very well and made us feel special. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. The only small fault we could give was it would be good to have a room service menu in the room with a wine list, we had to ring reception to inquire about this, but they brought us a food menu up to the room but no wine list.

Bacon was very good and so was fried bread.

Sausages were below average. Too dry. Skin too thick. No flavour. Oats not edible. Too hard. Would have preferred freshly grounded coffee Shower was very small
