Brand New Modern 2BR Apt in Broadway High St - Sleeps 6

The apartment was beautiful- everything we needed and perfectly placed for shops , cafes and restaurants of Broadway . Very clean with exceptional quality of mattress , bedding and pillows .Kitchen and bathrooms were luxurious - provided everything we needed .

At the back of the apartments is a kennels , the lane to drive in and park is actually called Kennel lane . The incessant howling and barking was unbearable and we visited on the hottest week of the year so it was a choice of hearing that racket from the kennels or keeping the windows shut and not sleeping anyway due to the heat wave. There was a fan in each bedroom but little use when windows had to be closed .It ruined our five days away to lack of sleep .

The location is exceptional and there is parking available. The flat is really comfortable and it's really handy that both bedrooms have ensuites. I would have marked it a 10 on 10, if it hadn't been for the fact that the flat hadn't been cleaned before our arrival, as the cleaner had an emergency of their own but hadn't made the host aware. Having said that, one of the things I most appreciated about the host is their customer service. They were helpful, professional, respectful from the start to the end of our trip. And they managed to sort out an emergency cleaner (on a bank holiday weekend!) so we could actually stay in the apartment as we had planned. They even offered respite in the flat next door that was unoccupied whilst we waited for our flat to be cleaned. I would rate the host as a 10 on 10 for their approach when there was an unexpected mishap with the cleaning.

The instructions to the parking, and to the flat itself could be better demonstrated with photos. The flat was really hot (but all of England was sizzling at the time)- a couple of fans should sort the issue. The second bedroom although a decent size didn't really have space to store our belongings because the in-built wardrobe had extra linen for the sofabed. It is easily sorted by just having a shelf in the wardrobe, so the sofabed stuff can stay below, and the guest can lay out their belongings on the shelf within the wardrobe. Or maybe add a chest of drawers, as this was really useful in the bigger bedroom.
