Cotswolds Place - Chancewell

We had a brilliant time ; The location was exceptional . The property is very Clean , all inside is well appointed & attractive. The garden is tidy, lovely for a pre dinner drink. Parking was no problem. The proximity of The Deli - brilliant . Also Cook frozen food available at the co-op was a bonus. Will hopefully return

Key safe mentioned to be on the left, in passage way may have been useful - as there are 3 key safes in the alley way. Also showering was a challenge. I found it easier to kneel (in my 70’s). It may be useful to say that any guests with physical impairment may have a difficult time. We felt to have a Bath was inappropriate during this summer of water limitations.

Excellent location in centre of desirable & pretty village within walking distance of everything the village had to offer. Everything you need provided by host in terms of equipment & information…including 2 large fans in view of very warm temperatures!! Comfortable beds with super quality linen

Nothing to spoil a visit. Only a couple of negatives… There was limited parking close to property. We were ok as moved vehicle around. This couldn’t be improved upon by the host as it is restricted due to the layout & age of village that restricts cars on High Street. Plenty of alternatives which host detailed. Use of shower 🚿 was restricted to kneeling down in claw top bath 🛀🏻 due to restricted head height in bathroom or leaning over bath. Proved difficult to wash & rinse long hair! Again the age of the property prevented any other option than to do this…totally understandable & did not impact adversely on our stay - but one to be aware of especially if limited mobility

Beautifully set out apartment . Perfect location. Super comfy bed and bedding. Has everything you need and is really lovely

Nothing we didn’t like.

The apartment was very light & airy situated perfectly for our stay. We loved the quiet & private garden. The hostess was very informative & reachable which was great. We loved the very good quality bedding on the very comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend.
