The photoes are very accurate so you know what you are paying for. It is cheap for Venice. It was in a good location. Away from the touristy parts in the middle but 15-25 minutes walk to must places. It is close to the port to get to Burano, Murano and Tercello etc. There are some restaurants and a bakery in the area of the apartment too. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The shower didn’t have great pressure and it didn’t get very hot. There was no handsoap in the bathroom the first night but then there was some provided. Unsure if this was forgotten or someone else provided the handsoap. The towel in the bathroom needed to be changed. There was a musty smell from the towel provided for personal use. The extension lead in the room was giving electric currents through the phone when charging. There are mosquitoes in the room so make sure to plug in the mosquito deterrent, I got eaten badly one night when I forgot. There was only one pillow given even when I asked for two. The bed was actually a good size for one person.

A fantastic place to stay in a quiet part of Venice. I would highly recommend staying in Cannaregio while in Venice - it’s less touristy than San Polo and San Marco, with fantastic local restaurants and bars. Alex was very welcoming when I arrived, and gave wonderful suggestions for exploring Venice. The apartment has all comforts required, fitted out with beautiful antique furniture. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in Venice again!!

Very good stay in Venice. The location is convenient and close to the boat terminal, making it easy to travel around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was extremely kind and helpful. He even took the time to help me with a problem from another accommodation booking, which I really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is great, but that is about it. The place was warm, well heated - it mattered in February!

The whole place was pretty dirty and dusty, the bathroom was questionable at best. The shower curtain smelled horrible and things were falling apart as you were using them (bidet faucet for ex). The kitchen & fridge that you have access to are better off un-accessed. There are 3 rooms within the apartment, and if they’re all occupied with couples (typical for Venice), you’ll be waiting a long time to use the 1bathroom.
