San Giorgio Luxury Apartment Taormina-Panoramic Pool & Parking Space

Ideal location - we were shown around on arrival which initially felt like a maze but we soon got our bearings. The property was clean and well equipped with a washing machine as a bonus with little ones.

Lots of stairs (as per the whole of Taormina) - be mindful when taking push chairs around!

Position was fantastic as was the stunning pool and the view was breathtaking. We will definitely return!

Shower was tiny (600x600)for the size of the apartment. Suggest somewhere in shower to put shampoo, conditioner and soap. For the price, consider supplying. As would suggest supplying laundry detergent. Otherwise we loved our stay. There are a lot of steps so you need to be fit!

The location is excellent - Easy walking distance to the main street where there are numerous shops and restaurants. The apartment complex is very well maintained. The pool is fabulous and the lifeguard is very pleasant and good at managing the sunbeds. The Balcony / Terrace in the apartment is very large with amazing views. Ms Loredana, our host, was very friendly and very helpful - She allowed us to store,our bags on the terrace after checkout due to our late flight. The washing machine was very handy and the hairdryer was a good standard (better than what is often supplied in hotels / holiday apartments)

Small issue with electrical supply. If too many appliances are run at same time it can cause the MCB to trip and it as to be re-set. This was explained on our arrival and only happened once during our stay. Air Conditioning in 2nd bedroom didn't always cool sufficiently after the first couple of days, however we didn't report this untill we left so we can't really complain...

Sea view

The property was built on high slope with too many steps. Although there lift, but even to get to the lift you had to go up and down several stairs. Generally speaking, for older people, specifically with some walking disability, it would be a wrong choice. The shower was very tiny, 70x70 cm and one could hardly move inside it. There was no shelf/ rack to put soap or shampoo on it. Asked the building manager. She bluntly said that’s it ! Added : put them on basket near the shower door!! It seems that’s the way they do it at their own home! It was not comfortable .
