Bairro Alto 3 Bedroom Patio Flat!

Great apartment, beautiful style and perfect location!

There was plenty of room (there was 5 of us and it didn’t feel to small). The lovely decor and high ceiling made it feel special with very comfy beds. The location was fab with walking distance from lots of places.

Could have been closer to a shop and would have been great if more water was left for arrival. But didn’t impact our stay.

The apartment was very well presented and clean.

There was no air conditioning in 1 of the bedrooms which made it quite uncomfortable. One of the chairs collapsed when I sat in it.

Apartment is well located, although in the area with busy nightlife it is on a quiet street. It is large enough for 6 people, we enjoyed having breakfast in the terrace.

I absolutely do not recommend this apartment for those who arrive in the late afternoon. Check-in must be done by 20.00, if you miss it, you pay penalty, doesn´t matter the reason. We knew about check-in time, our plane landed at 18.05, we would have made it by 20.00. Unfortunately covid pass check took too much time and we got a delay. Then a guy who was to hand us the key to the apartment started chasing us with messages about when we would come. Since passing the passport check we still kept running. It put us under so much pressure that it could have contributed to a serious issue that happened to us in subway. Subway staff was working to help us but we lost another time. We messaged, called the guy to explain him situation, I took Uber to get to him asap while my family stayed in subway to solve the issue …. He couldn´t wait for me so sent me a code of building door and left the key under door mat. Anyhow – we had to pay penalty. Uber unloaded me in front of apartment building at 20.30. We are used to travel a lot. Usually we don´t need to meet anyone in person to check-in. There is a safe with a key by the apartment door and the owner just send us a code. In this way we would avoid stress, running with baggage and kids through the airport hall and paying penalties. I felt quite frustrated and surprised by such an unpleasant approach. Especially now, after long travel restrictions. We came to Lisbon after some years because we fell in love with this beautiful city, it´s atmosphere and nice people we met there. This new experience overshadowed my memories a little.
