Safestay Bratislava Presidential Palace

Clean room, comfortable bed, late check-in, optional breakfast. Polite and professional staff. I arrived around 2AM, there was still a person at reception. Got my key, went to the room but my bed was already occupied. Accomodation offered me a better room with private bathroom without price change and apologized for the situation. I accepted and stayed for 1 night as planned. Breakfast was good, with many options to choose from: meat, cheese, sweet stuff, vegetables, tee & coffee.

A bit narrow bed, but sleepable. One type of bread for breakfast - white soft and chewy.

The location was great—about a 15-minute walk from the main train station. The area is clean, and the rooms are tidy. Having female-only rooms is a fantastic feature for solo women travelers. The other guests were respectful and friendly, and the 24/7 reception is very convenient. If you happen to forget any necessities, the hostel provides them for a small fee (towels, locks, hair dryers, slippers, and sanitary pads). Based on my experience, it feels very safe; I left my belongings near my bed and nothing disappeared. There are lockers available in the rooms as well—you can either bring your own lock or borrow one from the reception.

Breakfast bufet was a bit basic but satisfactory for the price

SafeStay Bratislava is close to the train station and offers a variety of things to meet needs (at additional charge). There was AC available in the room at no extra charge and a bottle of fresh water/glasses. The keycard entry system for both the floor and the room added an additional level of security. Hallway and bathroom lights were automatic.

My daughter and I both felt like the shared bathrooms were smelly and not well ventilated. They did appear to be clean.
