IZY STAY Hostel Bratislava

シングルベッドの部屋に泊まりました。小さなテーブル一つと荷物入れのロッカーがあるとても小さな部屋でした。窓があって換気ができるのは良かったです。シャワールームは清潔で使いやすく、キッチンも必要十分な備品がありました。ただ、スタッフがいないようなので午後１０時以降の静かにすべき時間帯にもラウンジで大きな奇声をあげているひとがいました。そういうことがなければ部屋は小さいですが快適なホテルでした。

This hostel has one of the most complicated electronic lock and self-check-in systems I’ve ever experienced. The check-in link was only sent at the official check-in time (3:00 PM) on the day of arrival. Before that, I had no idea how I was supposed to enter the building, which made me feel quite insecure. Even worse, the link in the email wasn’t visible because it had been blocked by the hotel’s booking platform. Surprisingly, the customer service staff didn’t even know the link was being blocked and kept insisting that I had to use the email link to complete the check-in. The whole process was unnecessarily stressful and caused a lot of anxiety. It wasn’t just me—I met another guest at the hostel entrance who was experiencing exactly the same problem. The facilities were also disappointing. There was no hairdryer in the men’s restroom, and no toiletries were provided in the shower rooms. On my floor, there was only one toilet cubicle, while dozens of guests had to share just two shower rooms and one toilet, which was clearly insufficient. 😂 There was nowhere to hang your trousers while showering, and nowhere convenient to put your phone (although the shower room did have a phone holder). Since your phone is needed to unlock the bedroom door, you have to carry it with you whenever you leave your room. The private room was very basic. There was only one hook for hanging clothes. The mattress felt more like a child’s bed than a standard single bed. It was quite small for an adult, and if you’re overweight, you’ll probably find it difficult even to turn over while sleeping. The only positive thing I can say is that the hostel is conveniently located near the train station. Other than that, I honestly couldn’t find anything worth praising.

The check in link was masked by Agoda and required to ask for the link by email or WhatsApp which is quite inconvenient. The single room is super tiny that you might barely move. Many flies or insects in the room and no AC/ fan for ventilation. I could only open the window and attracted those flies and mosquitoes. It’s very hot during summer time and kinda hard to sleep. The ventilation is quite poor with strong food and body odor in common area, kitchen, hallways and etc. it was annoying and I could barely breathe lol But to be fair the prices represented the actual quality, read the reviews before your booking

No staff on site, everything is digital, so there isnt anyone to check on cleanliness, or help with other issues. We came to our room being dirty after people before us, and had to call, text, and wait over two hours before someone came to actualy clean the room. I feel really bad for people who has to work under this cost/job-cutting system. Rooms are fine, showers and floors dirty, toilets very few and also mostly dirty, lounge/kitchen is fine, but also very small for such capacity... Pick literally anything else if you can.
