Well equipped apartment in the heart of Vouvray

Well equipped apartment in the heart of Vouvray. Washing machine available. Spacious and warm in March. Several wineries and restaurants close by. Parking right outside. Lovely host who greeted us but speaks no English.

Outside stairs could be a problem for some people but we were fine. Toilet room is tiny.

A quiet oasis

After a long car drive on a hot day we arrived at this quiet and perfectly located apartment, a great base for exploring the area. The apartment was nice, very comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious for the 2 of us. The view was nice, overlooking the trees and a beautiful sky. Annie gave us a warm welcome, being so nice and helpful, even leaving for us a water bottle and a wine bottle already cool in the refrigerator. The AC in the apartment is a plus and the fact that you can just park outside a great advantage. Would return and recommend it!

The only less positive aspect was that the previous guests had not cleaned properly some pans and cutlery, would suggest just some checking before a new arrival.

Quiet convenient location with short walk to restaurants and shops. Comfortable.

Interesting mix of furniture and furnishings in a recently converted space with nice new velux windows and exposed beams. No breakfast but there were tea and coffee making facilities and a short walk to the boulangerie. It was lovely to have breakfast in the little garden. We were only staying one night so didn’t need the dishwasher, washing machine etc but for a longer stay they were there and a big fridge too. Plenty of space for two.

The location was great and the interior décoration was great. The property is clean

In the bedroom, it would have been great if a curtain was présent in case you wish to sleep without being woken up by sunlight. Also in wall by the stairs, it will be good better remove the nails presents(it can tore your cloth if you dont pay attention)

Reasonably priced and great location

Nice location. It is near a camp site and we could take a walk along the river or to the old town. There are eateries, cafes, bars and a supermarket nearby. The place was clean. We were provided with a baby cot upon request. It has a kitchen with basic cooking utensils (pots, pans, ladles, knives, cutlery, etc.), where you could actually cook. You have access to a small garden below. If your drive, you could park your car right in front of the property.

We could not lock the front gate and front door either because the locks were broken or we were not given the instructions to operate them. We hope this could be be fixed in the future. Although the location seems generally safe, it may bother some people.

Vacances famille

On a passé de bonnes vacances à Vouvray en famille. La maison était bien équipée, nous avons été bien accueillis et, en plus, une bouteille de vin frais nous a été offerte. Nous avons aussi pu nous baigner dans une rivière à 20 minutes de la maison Il y avais aussi des parc de jeux pas trop loin desla maison pour les enfants.
