We had a wonderful time at Hanser . Hanser family are amazing hosts, very kind people with loads of positive energy! They welcomed us every morning with a nice breakfast and a smile on their face. They recommended to us wonderful places to visit, helped us find destinations and provided everything we needed for our baby! Accommodation has two terraces with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and is kept very clean all the time. Location is great for all sort of activities. Neaeby, there are many hiking routes and skiing trails. Matrei, Lienz, Pregraten are very close by car and worth visiting. We will come again in summer time :)

Virgental Valley is worth to visit!

We initially booked this place for summer 2020, but the COVID pandemic made it's own changes to our travel plans. Gästehaus Hanser allowed to cancel 2020 booking for free even the deadline was over. Booked again for 2021 summer and didn't have to be disappointed. Lovely house, hospitable host and magnificent surroundings -- this is the real Austria as someone said.

The host family Hanser were really nice and friendly. We also liked the breakfast was quite good. We just were on our way and stopped a night there, but for those who like hiking, there are several nice places around to hike.

We had a very good stay at Hanser Gastehause. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was very good. We even got a free ticket for the public bus!

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Toller Blick! Hier kann man locker eine Woche und länger verbringen, wir waren (geplant) nur kurz da.

gern nochmal wieder

Man hat gemerkt, dass die Gastgeber dies schon länger machen und fühlte sich gleich wie in einer Familie aufgenommen. Jedem Schlafzimmer war ein Bad mit WC und Dusche zugeordnet. Bei Fragen , waren die Gastgeber immer direkt ansprechbar.

Ein wenig schwierig war die Unterkunft zu finden - sehr versteckte Einfahrt.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und toller Ausblick vom Balkon! Gute Ausstattung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Im nahegelegenen Matrei einige tolle Restaurants.

Super Wanderurlaub.

Das Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage des Zimmers war der Hammer. Wir hatten 2 Balkone und somit einen super Panoramablick auf die Bergwelt. Parkplatz vor der Haustür war optimal. Das Gästehaus Hanser ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für große und kleine Bergwanderungen.
