Herrliches kleines Hotel mit liebevoller, moderner Ausstattung und sehr nettem Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Casa della Capra. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und durchdacht. Zum Beispiel gibt es Saft in der Minibar und selbstgebackene Ziegen-Kekse zur Begrüßung. Man kann schöne Gemeinschaftsräume und eine Terasse mit Blick auf den See nutzen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und stellt einem zum Beispiel noch ein extra Badehandtuch zur Verfügung, wenn man im See baden möchte. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit frischem Obst und selbstgebackenen kleinen Brötchen. Im Restaurant gibt es feine Speisen und Getränke mit Blick auf den See.

Das Frühstück ist leider nicht im Preis inbegriffen sondern muss extra dazugebucht werden. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut aber auch entsprechend hochpreisig. Man sollte unbedingt im Voraus fürs Abendessen reservieren weil sonst am selben Tag keine Plätze mehr frei sein könnten (dafür wurde uns allerdings sofort ein Tisch im sehr guten Nachbar-Restaurant reserviert). Zwischen dem Hotel und dem See liegt eine vielbefahrene Straße die ein wenig das Ambiente stört. Ansonsten haben wir nichts zu meckern.

The food is delicious but the menu a bit small and limited if staying for multiple nights, given some of the main course options were unavailable. Didn’t expect the road to be so busy between the hotel and the lake, that wasn’t obvious from the images online and we also didn’t realise that the busy campsite is just over the road meaning that the lakeshore is very busy with tourists staying at the campsite and using the lakeshore immediately in front of the hotel. We would have expected a bit more service for the room rate paid, including water in the room in summer. It’s clear that a lot of time has gone into making this a great venue for cycling holidays and the set up is geared to that, which isn’t what we expected so perhaps need to make this clearer on booking.com? It felt like we were intruding on someone’s private home at times, so perhaps owners may need to think about clearer boundaries between personal and business space at this property.
