The town is beautiful and the sitting area at the entrance was very nice. The staff are very nice and helpful. It was clean and comfortable.

Saxonis is a superb base of operations for a vacation in Epirus. Vasilis is an excellent host, and since he's a mountain guide he can offer expert advice on hiking in the area. The buildings are historic (the main house dates to 1847) with both the charm and quirks of old buildings. Breakfast is more than adequate, with a special baked dish every morning. The warm and friendly atmosphere makes it easy to interact with other guests.
