Small hotel in the mountains

Good location and design, the rest was not great

The place is beautiful and the location is great.

The WiFi was really bad, it was very hard to set the shower to the right temperature, the shower water pressure was low, the breakfast was disappointing.

Amazing place , definitely recommend!

Beautiful place, a fairy tail garden, very warm people, full breakfast!!

A bit warm at the time of our stay, an air conditioning would be great! Actually the only thing missing (on warm days) from a perfect place!

A little expensive but beautiful setting

The location is gorgeous and the outdoor facilities are very well kept - a shame the restaurant wasn't open when I was there! Breakfast was served outside (limited options for vegans, write to them in advance).

The room felt a little cramped for the price but be warned Papingo is more expensive than other villages and this was the most I paid on any accommodation in Greece and I think it was not necessarily a reasonable price but this is true of the entire village.

Wonderful place to stay amongst beautiful scenery

The best place we stayed in during our 2 week holiday, (we moved around a lot). More intimate than the photos suggest. The hotel, indeed the whole village was very empty and we were kindly given what would have been a more expensive room with a balcony overlooking the village. Lovely outdoor eating area shaded by grape vines. Can’t recommend Kalliopi and the village is Papigkon enough

There’s no parking close to the hotel, the nearest parking is the public parking (free) as you come into the village. It’s not far but we did get caught in a sudden shower.

More related to the town of Papigkou. than the property. There is not a single market to be found. Pretty much a dead town.

Fair value for money

The room was big enough for 3 people and fairly comfortable. The place has a taverna which was very good.

The balcony in the room was under repairs and unusable. The shower had to be held by hand since there is no high mount for the shower head. The value for money was relatively low compared to our other stays in the area.

Fun place to stay

Lovely hilltop position with great views of the mountains. we had a great room, and we also ate there because of the rain and that turned out to be really good too. the breakfast the next morning was a real treat.

The terrace and the view from there was very beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly 🙂

The balcony door handle in our room was missing and the door was little tricky to open and close . But this is not something so bad . Overall it was a beautiful experience 🙂

Nice room, quiet location and friendly staff.

The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable and we had no hot water, so had to ask the staff to fix that, but the staff were very nice.

We visited in Dec and the mountains were full of snow. The hotel was decorated and the room was nice and clean.

In Dec there was almost no staff and service was slow. Breakfast was ok but just that. Not as generous as in other hotels we stayed in the area.
