Best view you could ask for!

Everything about the property was incredible! The view obviously is a major highlight and was so good that I almost didn’t want to leave to go exploring. Our host was also super helpful and was very responsive to all our messages before and during our stay. When I come back it’s the only place I’ll want to stay at Lake Bled.

A memorable stay!

This is an absolute gem! We ended up spending most of our time in the house, enjoying the views, bird watching and enjoying watching the activities in the lake. I will stay here in a heartbeat if I'm in Bled again. Maya is a wonderful hostess who aims to make her guests feel comfortable and happy. Thank you!

We had a great Stay at Sovica. The best part was sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake with a nice glass of Sloven

The location of the property was excellent and the wow factor was amazing when we walked in the door. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and was cosy and warm especially with the log burner going. Maja was very easy to communicate with and was very quick to help us with a small maintenance issue.

Location is second to none and a perfect outlook to view the island on Lake Bled and listen to the church bells. Traditionally decorated and furnished that reminded me of the Slovenian homes I'd seen growing up.

Location and charm! Comfy beds and really is like staying at grandmas, everything you need right at your finger tips! Double balcony couldn’t be enjoyed to its fullest because of weather but give us a reason to come back:)

My husband didn’t prefer the beds, but he is tall so🤷🏻‍♀️ A tiny bit stressful keeping my kids from all the tchotchkes…they definitely added to the charm though☺️

The perfect view over the lake

Location couldn't be more perfect with the best view to the lake and the island, just a few minutes away from the castle and bled center. The house has everything you need for a nice vecation with the family or a group of friends. The heat is perfect, despite that being and old house, it's always warm and cosy.

Unfortunately the cleaning failed during our stay. We found several items in the kitchen that were stored but uncleaned what were very unpleasant to find. The house itself is very old. That's not an issue but its not an excuse to not improve the quality of some goods and, mostly, renovate the kitchen and the bathroom. The water heater is very small for the size of the house. It's difficult for two people take a bath with warm water, so with a group of people we need to take turns over the day.

Excellent communication throughout with the lovely super host Maya. Absolutely perfect place to relax. Incredible views from the balcony was like waking up in a Disney film. Loved Sovica house was like going back in time 100 years. Fabulous walks wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable beds too & great walks to explore Bled & more. Can't wait to come back. Exactly as described with unparalleled beauty.

The view from the property was unparalleled. We also appreciated how close we were to the beach and restaurant. Moreover, the small details - having coffee already stocked and chocolate treats for the kids - were really appreciated. The property was just as described, clean and had plenty of space.

lucky we found this gem along the shores of lake bled

Location, View, Private home. This century old two story home has all the history and charm to hold and cherish for having stayed here. Easy to find, million dollar view and a retreat that has everything you need with the privacy of having it all to yourselves. With a path to the lake from the property, to waking up with two balconies to choose from to enjoy your hot coffee, the unobstructed view and everything you need just to relax and be present; it simply is worthy of a return visit.

Very spectacular place

Absolutely beautiful place and setting, we enjoyed breakfast and our evenings on the balcony with the spectacular view on the lake, the island, and the castle of Bled.

The price is quite high but the value you get is also high.

Stunning view, ideal location, cute house all to yourselves - the top stay on Lake Bled!

Sovica House's obvious superpower is its location and view - one of the most beautiful we have ever seen - but it is also a cute home with traditional furniture and a comforting feel, like staying at Grandma's house. The kitchen was well stocked with staples and cookware.

Wish there were screens in the windows to keep out mosquitoes while letting in the cool lake air.

Suberb location, stunning view, fantastic stay!

An absolutely stunning location. Direct en close view on the island of Bled Lake that is in (or on the cover of) every travelbook/website of Slovenia. Just a few steps from the lake to dive in. We loved this place.

Everything was exactly as on the pictures so there wasn't anything I didn't like. If I have to say anything the house is a little older but that is also part of the charm.

Wonderful property and great host, but a scary walk to the beach.

Incredible view. No other property available for rent in Bled can compare. Also, the house is furnished like a home. So many rental properties look exactly the same: stock photos on the walls, silly "Home, sweet home" cards, etc. But Sovica is like someone's home: whimsical decor, old-fashioned furniture, phone, radio, etc. Very warm.

The house is great. But the road down to the beach at Velika Zaka is a nightmare. Although it's freshly repaved with a brand new cedar fence, there is no sidewalk or a bike trail, even thought it's the primary way for people who park at the road closure to get to the beach. Too many cars zip by too fast and do not give pedestrians enough space when passing. It feels unsafe, in particular walking with children. It's a major black mark against Bled and Zaka and the only unpleasant part of our otherwise fantastic stay at Sovica.

It’s all about the view and location. We received a warm welcome from the family who obviously have a lot of pride in the property. We felt privileged to stay in their special family residence.

The place is a little too cluttered with furniture, especially upstairs but we shifted pieces around to suit our needs

Der Blick vom Balkon ist außergewöhnlich. Das Haus ist groß und die Küche phantastisch ausgestattet, die Einrichtung allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wirkt in der Gesamtheit aber sehr schlüssig. Der Kontakt zu Maja war jederzeit schnell, freundlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit.

Die Matratzen waren für meinen Geschmack etwas hart.

Perfect stay – clean, fully equipped, great host!

English: We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Villa Sovica Bled! The villa is very well equipped – there’s everything you need, including private parking, a barbecue, coffee machine, dishwasher, and even a potato masher. Everything was clean and comfortable. Maya was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely come again! Русский: Прекрасно провели 3 дня на вилле Sovica Bled! Вилла отлично оснащена – есть всё необходимое: частная парковка, мангал, кофемашина, посудомоечная машина и даже давилка для картофеля. Всё было чисто и уютно. Майа очень отзывчивая и доброжелательная. Рекомендуем и обязательно приедем снова!
