I loved the onsen and it made the whole stay wonderful. After a long day walk can’t argue with an onsen to yourself. Facilities were good and I was able to cook what I needed to eat.
Without a car you would have trouble though as it is no where near restaurants or general stores.
Distance to food outlets but I was aware of this before I booked and with a car it is ok

Etwas abgelegen, aber sehr ruhig und grosszügig. Unsere Hütte hatte ein eigenes Onsen.
Die Einrichtung war sehr phantasievoll und deswegen ein wenig unpraktisch.
