Lunalux Apartment

The place looks just like in the pictures. Spacious, good for families. It's in good neighbourhood, close to center. Host provided us with a baby cot as we requested.

After checkout, the host requested a 200 EUR fine through booking.com because we left dirty dishes in the sink and did not take the trash bags out on the street, which should be part of the normal cost of operating a short-term rental... There was an issue I brought to the host personally, and the host did not address that at all, which is quite a shame. There were no clean sponges in the kitchen (only used ones that were quite dirty), no paper towels, no shampoos or shower gels, only 1 extra roll of toilet paper, really poor cookware and kitchenware. This is not a big deal but such minor inconveniences make the trip a bit less enjoyable. Overall the stay was good but the hosts' attitude towards what should be considered general cleaning left a bad aftertaste for which I do not feel like returning.

It was a big apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was large and had most things you would need. The living room was spacious. There was an elevator to take you up to the 3rd floor. The view was O.K. and the location was good for us for the barcelona marathon. The washing machine and dryer was a nice bonus.

There was no dishwasher, which worked out fine. Most apartments we rent have a dishwasher. The beds were small and not very comfortable.
