Baba Dool

I loved staying here; it's a beautiful oasis situated along the Nile on Elephantine island🤩 I enjoyed the lovely, warm & generous Nubian hospitality. Rawia, the manager organised 2 great tours for me. It was a highlight & great delight to have a delicious, healthy savory breakfast every morning sitting at the river's edge, with a view of the luscious Botanic gardens🤩 The calming & soothing atmosphere to be living on this part of the Nile is just AMAZING & must be personally experienced!! All the staff are friendly & helpful. The hotel itself is so cute & colourfully decorated, Nubian-style. For the budget-conscious traveler, this is Heaven🌟💫⚡✨🌈 Selam Aleykum & Sukran Rawia habibi & Baba Dool family & staff🙏

Baba Dool is perfectly located on the bank of the Nile with amazing views of the west bank. Whatever room you have you will have an amazing view! The staff are friendly and helpful and arrange affordable trips to the sights. Would definetley stay again.

Nothing - it was wonderful

The property is on an island in the middle of the Nile, we had breakfast right on the nile every morning, the ladies serving breakfast were fabulous, and the view was fantastic, quiet and amazing place

The hotel is just a the bank of Nile river

To get to the hotel you have to walk for around 6-7 minutes. The main issue is if you have quite a heavy luggage, it's gonna have a problem for you. Secondly I booked a room with AC but they refused to give me a AC room and was saying I booked a room without AC. Though I showed them the proof from my booking page, they were not ready to accept. As a result I couldn't sleep for one entire night as the weather was quite hot. I had to make a complaint to Booking.com and the next day they gave me the remote for the AC. Also you should not keep asking for common things like Towels.
