Beautiful unique stay in well equipped room.

Beautiful location, the room is beautiful, we could use everything from the mini bar. The breakfast buffet was thoughtful, well stocked and delicious. Their system of digital keys is very useful and simple, esp because I was checking in after the reception was closed. I had a beach view room And the restaurant had a full sea view

The pier is a bit old and the lobby and hall in front of the rooms is pretty empty. But it is not a problem.

Scheveningen for one night

The view was awesome. Too bad it was so cold. If warmer, we would've enjoyed the deck more. The bed was very comfortable, pillow great. We enjoyed the free mini-bar that came with this room. Didn't take advantage of the large tub, but it looked nice.

Wifi in the room worked great for my brother's phone, but for some reason not for mine. I had to go to the lobby for my connection. There was a really strong sewage smell in the hallway. Luckily, it didn't enter the room, Everything else was wonderful.

the location is unbeatable and the view is amazing.

The facilities are extremely outdated. Its just a very old building and it shows. Also, we had an awful smell in our room. Like sewage or something, im not quite sure, but not very enjoyable.

Absolutely unique hotel directly above the ocean

- the view is unbeatable! - very comfy room with included minibar - the staff is very friendly and helps with everything - very good breakfast and it is also included, although it is stated as an extra on booking.com - nice bathtub big enough for two people

- the balcony needs protection nets from above, tourist threw trash onto it - the door could be tighter, it rattles extremely loud when there are stronger winds outside - Chromecast don't work in room 2 - the pillows are way too hard

The location is just outstanding, just as you see in the pictures!

I don’t recommend booking the breakfast, it’s not worth the money. Go find a spot to have your morning coffee close to the ocean instead!

Good

A cool location at the end of the pier, build on poles so you get the feeling you are floating on water. The location is awesome and compensates the feeling of past glory up to a certain extent.

The rooms were nice and spacious and the staff was very friendly, but deferred maintenance makes this experience not what is expected with such rates. Cobwebs, loose electricy wires, damaged stairs, etc could (should!) have been fixed with a bit of eye for detail. Of course, they must have had a tough time because of the pandemic but the hotel interior clearly lacks maintenance and style. We had a good time, location is great but the hotel itself clearly needs renovation.

Great views and location by the sea.

Location was great, at the end of the pier. Sea view from the room and balcony made the stay relaxing, comfy beds and free mini bar. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of hot cold, sweet and savoury choices.

The room was described as "Deluxe". There was damp on the ceiling in the bathroom, litter & cigarette butts on the balcony and for the money paid, missing some extra touches. e.g. stand for luggage, tissues, heated towel rail and fresh milk.

Nice view. The temperature in the room was very good and the staff was very nice and was eager to help.
