Great place to stay in the heart of Legian. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Nice quiet location, short walk to beach.

Left early. Not a recommended place. False advertising of features.

Of the 36 photos shown on Booking.com, we counted only 6 that were of Legian Village RESORT. The majority of the photos were of Legian Village HOTEL in different street Jln Padma. Those 2 properties are DEFINITELY NOT of the same standard. The "Resort" is an ageing property, and the rooms we think suit a tenant wanting long-term cheap rooms. We found it hard to believe the "CHSE Certification" had meaning, and will not believe that tag in future. The following features were advertised for this property, and were not present (In general, they applied to the other property): 2 swimming pools - There is 1 Spa/wellness - NO Tour Desk - NO Seating area - NO Snack bar / bar - NO Pool table - NO ATM machine - NO Mini Market - NO Lounge/ TV area - NO Barber Shop - NO Restaurant - NO Desk - There was a desk that incorporated drawers, leaving no room to use a chair, & no chair was supplied. Kettle - not supplied. On request, a kettle & 2 cups delivered. The kettle was non-functional. A second was delivered. The "garden view" was a concrete wall with a few plants in front but not hiding the wall.

Not good.

This was my 4th time staying here and have never had any issues until this stay. What I liked: -Location obviously it’s right in the heart. -The pool. -soft Music plays in the pool area all the time. Unfortunately that’s it this time.

-Horrible Bathrooms. -No water connected to sink tap, maintenance man didn’t care. -Mould everywhere. -Shower was above a bath and slippery. -Mouldy shower curtain. -Bathroom floods. -Towels stink. -Housekeeping only make your bed they do not clean. -Mattress was awful and I felt dirty sleeping in it. -Sheet doesn’t fit mattress properly so my feet touched the actual mattress all night. -Housekeeping do not clean the property, cigarette ash on stairs was there 4 days. -Ants. -Mosquitoes. -Loud music at night. -Not great air con. -Bedsheets feel very old. -Stains on bedsheets. -Extremely dated. -Cats everywhere, a kitten fell off the balcony on the 4th floors and died when it hit the concrete floor below. This place was the same price as what I paid for another property that I just rated 10 stars as I did 5 nights at each. Unfortunately I’ll never return to Legian beach hotel or the smaller one on Garlic Lane.

The location is very central to everything in the Legian area. Breakfast was simple and sufficient. The room was adequate and the bed was roomy and comfortable. The updated bathrooms could have been nicer with a few more amenities such as a cabinet. Food and drinks from the restaurant were lovely. Compliments to the staff who were lovely and very accomodating.

Access getting in and out of the pool is restrictive for anyone with any physical disability or impairment. The pool lounges are limited in number and could do with updating. The loud music going all day in the pool and restaurant area is not necessary, could be turned down.

Our third room shown was an improvement on the first 2. Staff where wonderful. The security was lacking every one walked in. Drugs being told inside & out side hotel was scary.

Great place to stay, excellent value for money with wonderful staff!

Had a lovely time at Legian Village. The location is excellent - right in the heart of Legian. The staff were beautiful - very friendly and efficient. They always greeted me by name. You could clearly see that every staff member enjoyed their jobs. My room was very good and comfortable. Great value for money. I loved Joni’s Bar! The food was great with a good variety of international food and well priced. The young men who worked in Joni’s Bar were wonderful and the bar service was excellent. The live music played each night was very good.

Nothing comes to mind. Legian Village is a vintage Balinese style hotel which adds to its charm, great atmosphere and good value for money. I will definitely come back and stay at Legian Village 😊

I always stay here lately because I’m in Bali 3-4 times a year and need to stay somewhere affordable. I stay in minimal of deluxe room. Standard is very standard. Over in Joni 11 off Garlic lane the rooms are quite clean and comfortable. The staff are so lovely and accommodating at Legian Village. The location is perfect near all the bars, cafe’s, shopping and a stroll to the beach. This place is not 5 star and doesn’t pretend to be but is good value for the price. It has everything I need. A hot shower, clean linen, air con and a fridge to keep my drinks cold. Thanks for another good stay Legian Village.

Make sure to ask for Joni 11 if you don’t like noise. The main building has a band of a night and noise from the pool bar by day which is fine if you want to party but I’m more mature and like some quiet. You get what you pay for so spend a bit more and go the deluxe or better. Spent my first night in a standard this time ( a mix up which they sorted the very next day without issue) and it was small, dated, mouldy and a bit smelly.

Pleasant

Perfect hotel if you have a late flight and need somewhere basic to stay until the morning. The location is great its right in the middle of everything and the rooms are basic but do the job done.

The shower in the family room flooded each time someone took a shower. Other than that everything else is what you would expect for the price.
