Location is very strategic, really close to most places in cbd.
Staff make sure to clean the room and common area almost everyday which I appreciate
- Door lock on my room suddenly broken when I came back one day. It just didn't lock. Not sure what happen but it makes me worry abkut my stuff.
- Area under the bed are not cleaned regularly, understandable since people leave at different times which sometime might make it hard to do a thorough clean.
- Not the lodge's fault but on my first night, the backpacker sleeping below me on the bunk bed keep kicking my bed and the bed frame throughout the night because I was snoring. Keep in mind that the other 2 people in the room also snore, but I'm the closest to her so I'm the main victim of her anger. Then when she made sure I was woken from the kick, she will occassionally hit the other bed to make sure everyone that snores wake up too so that she can sleep without noise. I barely had any sleep on my first night because of that.

Breakfast was self provided. Location about 700 metre from a major supermarket and short walks to cafe's and restaurants was a bonus. Met lots of travellers from many countries so great for socialising.
Beds were ok but not that comfortable. Could be very noisy at night with loud conversations till 2 am. Very hard to regulate guest behaviour in a busy hostel.

The vibes and the people were amazing. Definitely would stay over and over again.
The bathrooms weren’t the best but they weren’t bad and had charm to them.

we originally booked room for 4 but strangely be arranged to room for 8. That's ridiculous.
