My Penthouse Valencia

The apartment is very well appointed with 2 good sized bedrooms and a very nice terrace with good city views. It was clean and tidy. The Aircon worked well and the WiFi with good sized TV was very good with no issues. As it's on the top of the 4 storey building having the lift ( though a squeeze for even 3 people) was very handy.

The bathroom shower drain smelled a bit at 1st ( I think there is a building Syphon issue when toilet is flushed) however by running the shower faucet afterwards for a few seconds to refill the tray U-bend this resolved any further problems. We also had a bit of a scare on 2nd evening when the apartment key got stuck in the lock. After a few minutes of trying it freed itself and had now further problems. We were asked to leave a €50 cleaning deposit which would be refunded provided apartment was left tidy and clean. Unfortunately though we left the apartment in very clean condition and despite several attempts to get the money back we received no response from Maria since.

Appartement très confortable à moins de 10 minutes d'une station de métro qui va directement dans le centre de Valence. Tout fonctionne parfaitement. Hôtes charmants. Immeuble tranquille lors de notre séjour. Quartier sans danger apparent. Cuisine et salle de bains bien équipées. Climatisation fonctionnelle. Le point fort de l'appartement c'est l'incroyable terrasse qui est encore mieux que sur les photos. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Suivant les horaires, les avions décollent ou atterrissent en passant directement au-dessus du quartier. Voyez bien avec les hôtes comment récupérer la caution, car ce fut un peu compliqué pour nous (mais nous y sommes parvenus).

The rooftop balcony is lovely and once inside the apartment it’s very clean and spacious.

The locality is on the wrong side of the tracks / down at heel - local restaurants and bars are low quality. The 9am check out time is earlier than most in Valencia.
