We stayed at this hotel for three nights and, overall, we really enjoyed it. I would like to highlight that the room was clean, and the towels and bed linen were spotless. The plumbing worked perfectly, with consistent hot and cold water. The owners are very friendly. The room is small, but if you just need a place to sleep, it is a great option. A very nice touch was the coffee and sweets available for free on the shared kitchen table. ​As for the downsides, the exhaust fan in the neighboring room is quite loud. If you are a light sleeper, this might be an issue. In our case, we were out walking all day and were so exhausted that we barely noticed it, though we did hear it occasionally. Another minor drawback was the smell from the drains in the bathroom, but that is a common issue with older buildings. If you ventilate the room during the day and keep the bathroom door closed at night, it’s not much of a problem. ​Overall, we were very satisfied, and the negatives mentioned above were not deal-breakers for us.

The downsides were minimal, as described above

The only thing good about this property is the fact that it is a family house hotel managed by a nice Asian family who offered us free coffee and cookies.

Location is not the best in Rome: about 15 min to termini (train station) but far away from major attractions. We did not feel very safe in the neighborhood. Room is outdated with cheap furnitures,needs refreshment (no fridge, no safe, almost nothing in the room). It smells musty especially in the bathroom. We stayed in a room on the first floor with street view. It was very noisy. We heard the discussion of the people from the street and we smelt the cigarette. Finally, we paid 123€/night for a double room which is very expensive for this kind of properties. It can be justified if the property is renovated and well equipped. We paid almost the same price in Como and Milan in much better location and renovated and well equipped properties.
