Beautiful location. Awesome facilities. Amazing view.

Cleaning staff felt like they were doing us a favor. Had to pay for towels to be changed. Don't mind paying but lack of communication.

The location of the property was ideal, the facilities on the grounds were such fun for a family with young kids. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi. The unit has a nice fireplace and is comfortable.

The fire wood and firefighters were really expensive to purchase from the onsite supermarket.

It was very peacefull and everything that we need was available. We could buy meat to braai for the second night in the facility as the restaurant was not a good experience.

Extremely poor experience from start to finish. Due to our phone being out of order, we could not secure an earlier reservation and were forced into the 19:30 sitting — already not ideal with a 23-month-old baby. We arrived on time, yet it was immediately clear that two large tables were being prioritised over us. We placed our order without delay and received our drinks, but after waiting an hour and a half, we were told our order had been misplaced and was only then being prepared. This is simply unacceptable. After a 3-hour drive, we were exhausted, hungry, and travelling with a small child who by then was extremely uncomfortable. We had no choice but to request the food as takeaway. We were still charged over R1000 for what turned out to be very poor-quality food: Schnitzel had no proper sauce, just melted cheese Hamburger was soggy Steak was unevenly cooked and not worth the price Bone marrow had no marrow at all, it was a dry bone, we took a picture of it. Offering four scoops of ice cream as compensation was completely inadequate. We paid for a sit-down dining experience and ended up with substandard takeaway food — at a premium price. This is not just disappointing, it reflects very poorly on management and kitchen control. To make matters worse, the buffet breakfast the following morning (same manager and staff) was also below standard and not worth the cost. Overall, this was a highly frustrating and unacceptable experience. Serious attention is needed to both service and food quality.
